I don’t know why is took me so long to read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes but holy crap it was so so so good. Suzanne Collins did it again and I am renewed in why I had loved THG trilogy so much. From such tiny details as call backs to the trilogy to even the glaringly obvious ones. The way she makes Snow somehow even less of a sympathetic character when learning his back story and the undertones of how dangerous indoctrination can be. What a magnificent piece of literature.
