I recently had a birthday and my boyfriend made me the best cake of all time.

These are a few of my favorite things. I recently shot photos of the vegan comfort food at Doomie's Toronto. As you can see, you're going to want to go there ASAP.

I've never had a kfc "famous bowl," but I made a vegan copycat anyway. Lentil "popcorn chicken," with corn, vegan cheddar, mashed potatoes, and miso gravy.

We made brunchos. Yup, there's tofu scramble, coconut bacon, and crispy potatoes in there with all the usual suspects (cheese sauce, salsa, peppers, onion).

We ate our way around New York. Some favs: champs diner, candle 79, beyond sushi, red bamboo, juice generation, the bagel store, and Mac and cheez.

Latke pizza happened. Modern day miracle right there.

It's beginning to smell a lot like Hanukkah. And I hope more of my people can learn to make latkes without eggs, because these vegan beauties are as good as any I remember having. Go flax!

Chickpea scramble > egg. Chickens are for cuddling.

Tomorrow is the last day of this 21 day cleanse I've been doing. I'm SO excited to have pizza, but just as excited to continue eating like this 95% of the time😇😂

Spicy ginger tofu and veg on soba noodles! How I've missed hot sauce.

I'm taking part in a 21 day detox! As you can see, it has been no struggle so far. The food is so so so good. The only thing I miss is a full wallet :P

Who else coordinates weights with their shoes? Half the time it encourages me to take a heavier set.
