Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since… I’ve posted anything substantial. I’ve been really really busy with school, like more busy than i ever imagined. I just finished my spring semester, and I passed, yay!!!! I am SO TIRED, HAHA. Any veterinary school is not for the weak, us vet nurses (technicians is the technical term here) also get that. But, I’m very proud of myself. I’m taking a few days to just… catch up on sleep (GOD.) and with friends before I start making things and getting back to my commission queue. I left this semester with a lot of inspiration for art so hopefully you all will see that soon! Other than that… I have something pretty exciting to share!
As mentioned previously, I am currently in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (essentially, a vet nurse.) and it is thanks to my school that I have been offered the wonderful opportunity to travel abroad to the Dominican Republic to help animal welfare. But this comes at a cost and I need help in reaching the funds to be able to go.
This experience will aid me in bettering my skills as a future LVT, but more importantly, I, alongside Project Samana’s team plus my colleagues and the veterinarian & LVTs that are educating me will be able to provide necessary veterinary care to animals who would otherwise not have it. By donating you are backing a wonderful cause and helping out animals in need!
Unfortunately, at the moment I do not currently have the time to take on any more commissions, but if this is to change I will update. For now, we have a donation pool (yayyy!)

No, other mobs are not immortal like Steve. Witches heal Illagers during Raids, so they definitely got those, but aside from that they've got their own remedies and medicines I'm sure.
As for Polly, Polly has only come into direct contact with Steve a few times. The first time ever, his crossbow broke so Steve decided to spare him.
This is not what made Polly defect from the Illagers, but it was definitely a start to his introspection. At least it cemented in his head that Steve is... essentially an unkillable force of nature that decides whether others live or die simply based off of if they're bored or not. This is how Polly views it anyway.
And looking at it that way, perhaps Illagers are no different from any other inhabitant of the overworld.
Another time Polly saw Steve was during their siege on the Woodland Mansion. But they never came into direct contact, cuz Polly isn't even supposed to be there.
Only other Illager that has managed to escape Steve is Johnny, who was also there during the Mansion attack.
Second image is during Steve's raid on the Woodland Mansion, which they subsequently burn down. Under the Evokers' orders, Vinny shoved Steve's head into the trapped chest inside the Fake Portal room, triggering the TNT, but before he could get away Steve grabbed onto him and they both exploded. Steve had a totem.
