Azzi Fudd is the best and most complete player in the 2026 draft class and it’s not even close. If shes not the #1 pick, I will be shocked. Her 3 pt shooting is insane, and I have not seen any player be able to guard her. Once her mid-range shoots start falling more consistently, shes going to a whole another level if thats even possible. Besides her insane shooting ability, her defense is insane. She defends all the best guards in the country and holds them to like 20% shooting. She also makes really smart decisions, and she always knowns where her teammates are on the court.

Sarah Strong is just so good. Like shes great at recognizing when to double on defense, and obviously, she can block the ball extremely well. Her defense in the paint is the best on the team, and you will NOT see a player make a layup when being guarded by Sarah. Today, i thought her decision making could have been better, especially in the first half. She also looked a little rushed on offense which is unusual for her. But obviously still a great performance, and I still cannot believe she is only a sophomore!

Ash finally got her shot back! I am glad shes making her wide open threes because we need another shooter outside of Azzi. HOWEVER, if ash and azzi are both open, we should NOT be passing to ash. This is obviously not ash’s fault, but like thats the one thing that annoyed me tdy. I think ash could clean up her defense a little bit (even though she did have a couple good defensive plays), but overall good.

I love KK so much. I think every game she gets better. Her energy on defense is unmatched. Like everytime shes near the ball, i think shes gonna get a steal. She NEVER lets up, and she understands when to switch which is very good I am very proud of her 6 assists which shows shes doing her job as a pg.

I think this is Serahs best game yet. She started off the game extremely strong, and her footwork in the paint in the first half was very good. She out rebounded Sarah which is actually insane, and a first i think… I think shes getting more used to Uconns defensive and offensive system, and its showing. I will say I thought her defense today was very impressive (2 blocks?!?) The one thing I want her to understand is she does not have to shoot every time. I know on Wisconsin she was their big scoring threat but at Uconn you can pass the ball. Sometimes, she gets doubled in the paint and it leaves Azzi open. She needs to be able to decipher when to pass and when to shoot.

Blanca is honestly so good, and SHES A FRESHMAN! I love that she is not scared to drive to the basket, and she finishes through contact. She also never gives up, and the full court press today with her, azzi, kk, kayleigh, and sarah was the best its ever looked. USC could not get the ball across the halfway line. Shes another player that gets better with every game. She led the team in steals with 4, and I love the energy she provides off the bench!

I wanted Kayleigh to have a break out game today bc it’s against her old team, but it sadly did not happen. I think Kayleigh wanted to get to the basket and show whats she made of (which is understandable), but i did not like her decision making of when to drive to the basket. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I do think Geno should’ve played her a little more, but thats okay! The layup she had in the 4th was super cool though. I think Kayleigh just needs a breakout game to get her confidence up!

Jana needs more minutes. She showed out today! In 8 minutes, she had 4 points with 2/2 shooting and 4 rebounds. I think for her size she runs the court extremely well! She needs to clean up her TO though, but I would like to see more minutes for her! Otherwise, I think a rotation between her and Serah would make us a more dangerous team, and with more game experience, her decision making would become better leading to less TO.

I always love to see Yanna and Carol come in! They have grown so much, and it sucks that injury has had a huge effect on their career. I do not have much to say abt Allie this game, but again, she needs to be better on defense with not losing her person. I LOVE GUP GUP, and the celebration on the bench just makes her points that much better!
