HAPPIEH BIRTHDAY MARMONT!! Ngl my favourite out of his trio group Junot and Napoleon and this group is named the triple dumbasses/jk but I love how Marmont looks🤤

- antibiotics to cure his tuberculosis 💀

- phone calls and FaceTime so he could chat with his friends when they’re away in different countries without running the risk of letters being read by the secret police

- military strategy video games

- going to the cinema. He went to the theatre nearly every day so I think he’d like movies too! I think he would watch Kingdom of Heaven and cry the whole time from finding Baldwin too relatable

- rollercoasters. He liked going on the early 19th century version of rollercoasters with his uncles and so I think he would also enjoy the modern iteration although he would probably throw up

- chatting with people from different countries on social media. He loved Poland so I think he would make friends with Polish people on social media and then become internet besties with his brother Alexander Walewski

- The James Webb Space Telescope. He enjoyed studying astronomy and so I think he’d be really intrigued by all the modern developments in our understanding of space!

- collectible items. Out of boredom he collected stuff like walking sticks and handkerchiefs, and so I think in modern day he would get drawn into overconsumption and buy lots of collectible stuff. I think he would be too classy for labubu type overconsumption but would buy hundreds of collectible military figurines

This was a excuse to draw this ok? Their eyes are red because of the amount they stared at the tv oh and I have a feeling that Blücher is a footballer here (England side) and he is the reason why England won/jk

Just for fun, here are all the times in Gourgaud's diary where Napoleon laments not having Fouché shot, hanged, or guillotined (and also regrets that Louis XVIII has likewise failed in this capacity).

29 December 1815 – We speak of the news from France… His Majesty says that the King has done well to name Richelieu Prime Minister, but he should have hanged Fouché.

2 February 1816 – At 8 o’clock, His Majesty asks for me and dictates to me for a long while, then I have lunch with him. Sadness and chess. In the evening, it is said that Fouché has been executed. The Emperor exclaims: “I always predicted he’d eventually be hanged.”
