Nicole  had  offered  Alice  a  scarf  at  their  last  tea  party  ,  the  winter  was  cold  and  the  child  should  have  been  at  home  with  her  parents  drinking  hot  cocoa  ,  wrapped  up  in  blankets  ,  but  for  Alice  she  wasn't  living  a  normal  childhood.  Her  parents  were  away  ,  either  at  the  same  time  or  one  or  the  other.  It  had  grown  lonely  ,  so  when  Nicole  had  agreed  to  become  apart  of  her  Hexenzirkel  ,  Alice  finally  felt  as  though  she  had  a  friend.

The  Hexenzirkel  was  going  to  be  great  one  day  ,  she'd  had  many  friends  whom  could  tell  her  stories  and  have  tea  parties  with  her  all  of  the  time  ,  but  for  now  ,  it  was  just  her  and  Nicole.

Spring  was  almost  over  now  ,  and  Alice  hadn't  seen  Nicole  since  their  winter  gathering  ,  where  she'd  brought  the  angel  home  baked  treats  her  mother  had  made  before  leaving  on  a  very  important  job  once  again. 

Alice  still  wore  Nicole's  scarf  ,  around  her  neck  ,  or  tied  to  her  little  basket  everywhere  she  went  ,  a  reminder  that  she  had  a  friend  out  there.

Sat  under  a  tree  not  far  from  her  home  Alice  held  the  scarf  close  to  her  chest  ,  hoping  they'd  cross  paths  again  soon.  Her  parents  had  been  gone  for  a  while  now  too  ,  the  village  folk  where  Alice  lived  were  growing  worried  for  the  girl  ,  talking  as  though  she  couldn't  hear  them  ,  but  the  little  mage  was  always  listening  in.

❝  Klee  ,  aren't  you  supposed  to  be  waiting  at  the  scion  library  ?  ❞ it  seemed  the  girl  had  perhaps  wandered  off  ,  or  followed  after  Lauma  who  was  in  fact  currently  sporting  her  spirt  envoy  form.  It  was  quicker  to  get  around  the  island  ,  though  it  was  rather  energy  consuming.

❝  I  can't  say  I've  ever  had  a  passenger  before  ❞ She  couldn't  help  the  smile  she  gave  the  girl  ,  her  compliment  was  endearing  and  the  moonchanter  found  it  sweet  to  see  such  an  adventurous  child.  Wiser  beyond  her  years  ,  yet  still  the  playful  type. 

Lauma's  decent  to  the  ground  was  graceful  ,  she'd  at  least  done  this  part  before  when  resting  on  some  soft  grass.  ❝  you  can  hop  up  ,  but  please  do  hold  on  tight  ❞.  She  did  not  want  to  deal  with  Alice  if  her  child  got  injured  from  a  joy  ride.
