Unpopular opinion apparently: we should NOT know what Hudcon are doing together in Toronto. We should NOT know that they saw a movie, or where they went to dinner. We should NOT be supporting their stalkers and posting their pictures. LET THEM EXIST IN PEACE.
I think by now Hudson and Connor have repeated enough times that they do not want pictures to be taken that we are all aware, yet the stalking continues.
I don't think any of it is ok. The public street pictures help identify their neighbourhood - where they are staying, which gym they go to and lead to increasingly intrusive, dangerous and disturbing stalking like Connor being touched without consent and followed to his private residence or Hudson being photographed inside the private gym clearly without his knowledge or consent.
If you call yourself a fan of either or both of them, please don't spread these non-consensual photos and videos and call out the stalkers instead of encouraging their behaviour.
They will be working in Toronto for months, and the situation is already spiralling badly with stalkers reportedly flying in to harass them. They will be forced into lockdown, it will impact their mental health being hunted for pics, and it will burden the production to have to increase security.
There are no upsides. We should not engage with this kind of content, and wait until they share what they are comfortable sharing.

Just a thoughtful post about season 2. I will also soap box a little about how I do believe most people in the HR fandom donāt need to hear this and the ones that are toxic and problematic are the minority and just louder than the rest and not genuine and just want a rise out of people donāt let them ruin your fun.

It wasnāt easy for a kid like him growing up in Odessa, Texas.
āI was this artist, sissy boy in West Texas that didnāt want to play football,ā he explains. āI wanted to play pretend and play dress up and disappear into weird worlds and entertain and try to connect with people that way, and that was just not the norm out there.ā
That kid is now one of Hollywoodās hottest young talents.
Youāve talked about being ostracized in high school when some classmates found those Actorboy222 videos. What would you say to those people now?
I donāt feel any sort of way about it. I donāt really villainize anyone no matter how nasty they get because I fully do believe that people are doing their best. I think that people are hurt. I think everyone is so insecure and sad, and we all have these things that are so tender to us, and I just feel blessed to be to have had a human experience thatās been just rugged enough to give me that perspective, to be like, āI donāt really give a shit what words you use to describe me, or if you try to embarrass me because Iāve embarrassed myself a million fucking times. I donāt give a shit anymore. So bring it on.
I donāt feel bad about it because, especially how visible everything is now on the internet, if youāre a nasty person, I think that just makes you look nasty. I donāt need to try and make you look nasty. I just try to hold myself with grace and understanding. If youāre trying to belittle someone, itās probably because you feel pretty small yourself because I know when Iāve been mean in the past ā weāve all done things ā itās because I felt this big [he pinches a thumb and finger together]. I felt itty bitty.
For a fandom that likes to position itself as progressive, thereās a concerning amount of heteronormative logic running through its discourse when discussing the actors. So letās talk about it.
Itās been said many times before, but in case you forgot, real people cannot queerbait their sexual orientation. Repeat it after me: Real. People. Cannot. Queerbait. And yet the fandom has a tendency to accuse Hudson of queerbaiting, particularly whenever heās seen with his girlfriend. Why is that?
I genuinely wanted to know what evidence backed this up, so I did some sleuthing. What I found: the way he talks, the way he dresses, his public affection his male co-star/best friend, and not publicly labelling his sexuality (all while dating a woman) are treated as proof that heās queerbaiting.
Is that a valid list of reasons? Well no!
What it actually demonstrates is how the fandom turns arbitrary traits into the sole signifiers of queerness. And this logic goes further than saying that āhe canāt be queer because he has a girlfriendā. Instead, it insists he must present himself according to heteronormative standards, because if he doesnāt, the only acceptable explanation is that heās queerbaiting. But remember: real people cannot queerbait. So what weāre seeing isnāt queerbaiting at all ā itās the fandom perpetuating heteronormativity.
(To be clear: Iām not saying those same traits prove he is queer, either. Thatās exactly the point. They donāt prove anything, in either direction. People in the fandom have decided they must mean something, and whichever conclusion you land on (bait or authentic), youāre still trapped in the same broken logic that treats mannerisms as confessions. His voice, his clothes, his friendships are not a code waiting to be cracked. Reading them as such, regardless of the verdict you reach, is the actual problem).
Anyway, if we go back to the discourse around him having a girlfriend we can also see that there is something sharper than heteronormativity at play. His relationship is treated as the default truth of his sexual orientation, like itās hard evidence that literally overrides everything else. So any perceived queer-coded behaviour he displays is read as a performance. tl;dr: the fandom is enforcing a lot of bad-faith compulsory heterosexuality onto him, along with heteronormativity. Itās all very jarring to witness given the fandomās source material š.
So yeah, youāre basically making an aesthetic out of sexual orientation ā and that does more harm than Hudson wearing a backwards cap or drawing a heart around Connorās face ever could.

i think a few blogs on here could do with a not so gentle reminder that often photoshoots especially ones with your costar are acting
like yes you may be joking around with the costar in the behind the scenes but you are being directed to pose that way, put your arms around him this way and look at him that way it is acting for camera to promote a popular TV series about a love story with a lot of sex so of course all the photoshoots you do after that are gonna want you to act like you did for the show
if youāre going to call any photos pr you should start with photos professionally taken for magazine articles to market a romance show instead of calling them real and actual candid photos fake
