Eric leaned forward, and Thalia did too, about to kiss him, but then Eric pulled away again. Thalia snorted and leaned back onto the streetlamp, crossing her arms over her chest. "That's not the point, though. Actually, that's hardly a spoiler at all. I just told you who died. Snow could still be ruling Panem. Peeta could break up with Katniss and go fuck Gale." Thalia shrugged knowingly. "You never know." The daughter of Zeus grinned.

Eric crossed his arms and mimicked her stance, "And I don't want to know, smart ass." He stood normally again, his arm on the streetlamp holding him up over Thalia, and he smiled, "You know, I never thought I would miss your constant stubborn attitude, Thalia." He sighed, "But I did. I just have no idea why." He leaned in, giving her no time to argue, and kissed her, his hand under her chin and a smile on his lips. 

Thalia pursed her lips and tried to think of ways to convince Eric to read the trilogy-- but she knew that whatever she said wouldn't work anyway. Thalia laughed because she was thinking about The Hunger Games while a war was going on behind them. "So then can I spoil them for you?" She didn't wait for his reply before she said, "Prim dies. Finnick too."

Eric kept his face straight for a moment and then burst out laughing, "And now you just made it so I never have to read them." He smiled before moving so his face was inches from hers, "Thank you very much, Thalia." He smiled and pulled away.

Thalia giggled and gave a slight eyeroll. “No, Eric, we’re not going into The Hunger Games. First of all, there’s the slight problem that we don’t live in Panem! And second of all, who wants to do that anyways? There’s chocolate here, and the odds that you’re going to find chocolate in the arena is slight.” Thalia said, always referring to books. 

Eric let out a light groan, "Thalia, I still haven't read the books and I don't plan on it any time soon, so you can stop with the Hunger Games." He said with a smile. "And you can't make me read them, either, so don't try." His voice was light and his lips were smiling because of her constant talk about the Hunger Games.

Thalia laughed and pulled away, punching Eric playfully on the arm. She missed times like this, and wished she could stay like this forever; but she knew that that could only happen in her wildest dreams. Thalia looked up at Eric dreamily, but almost mischievously, too. “We’re not going to get anything settled if this keeps going on, you know.” She drawled.

Sounds more reasonable. Are you getting enough sleep? Lauren isn’t.

I've had a few nightmares. But no big deal. Why isn't Lauren sleeping?

gods...i just want to see my siblings

Sorry, again though…and i suppose, sore from the extra training I did for the war. A little shaken up from all the dead bodies. But apart from that, these past weeks have just been grand. How about you?

Other then being kidnapped and sleeping for a week and a half, dandy.

Well, of course, I’ve noticed you’re disappearance I just never knew that you were taken away. -sigh- I’m just behind on everything, sorry.

It's no big deal. No one really knew what happened, other then Thalia. How've you been the past weeks?

Wait, hold up. You were taken? How come I’m hearing of this now? Who took you away? And i’m not going to comment anymore, for I fear that i might say something wrong again. Well I suppose, I’m glad you’re alright then Eric.

You should have noticed. I was gone for 2 weeks. I don't know who took me. Camp people? I'm glad you're alright, too Linda.

See Eric, why do you always do this. One moment here and the other just plain out missing. “Hello I’m Eric Wescott and I like to be very flaky and just leave whenever i want to” and get me worried all the time. But what is my nagging going to do anyways? Well I’m good, nothing too serious happened to be during battle, are you fairing alright?

I would have stayed, but after Thalia's accident I was taken from camp. I didn't have the choice to leave you a nice little note saying where I was going. In fact, I had no idea where I was going. And then I got back during the war, and had to fight with Lauren against the monster that killed, but didn't really kill, Foster. Oh and then I had to take a nap. So I've been pretty busy. But I'm glad you're good. I'm alright, few scars and cuts, but I should be fine.

You didn't see me because I wasn't here. -laughs- I missed you, too. How are you? 

One sibling, at your service. 

Thalia's breaths were slow and steady, and for a moment that's all she heard, even over the uproar just infront of them. She let herself sink back into the streetlamp, and the slight girl lifted her arms to wrap around his neck, embracing him tightly and holding him close and protectively, almost like she was daring him to pull away. In a soft whisper, Thalia spoke into his ear; "The only thing perfect about me is you."

Eric felt Thalia wrap herself around him, as if she were protecting him from things he should be protecting her from, and he wrapped his arms slightly around her waist to keep the closeness between them, not wanting to pull away. Then he felt a slight chill slide down his spine as her hot breath hit his ear when she spoke. He kept her close and whispered back into her own ear, "That's a very cheesy thing to say." He felt a slight smile on his lips, almost a habit he'd formed around Thalia, "But we both know that it's a lie."
