first of all, i'm on april vacation! i spent the last two days driving here and with lots of whining, moaning, groaning, et cetra we (mom, dad, dog, and self) are finally here, at north carolina, the outer banks to be exact. and it's really fucking beautiful. we've come here every april vacation since i was little and it's been by far my favorite vacation. we're actually still not there yet, although we left yesterday morning at 5 am, but we are in hatteras, staying at a friends'. 

but, my great uncle, i posted about him here once before, died at around noon today.  he's been sick for a while and we saw it coming, but my parents asked my great aunt to push back his wake and funeral, not just so we can actually have our vacation, but so people can know about it and plan to come. but my aunt is extremely stubborn and she wants to have it as soon as possible, and it looks like she's going to have the wake on tuesday and the funeral on wednesday. 

so that means that we're probably going to have to leave north carolina and head back up to connecticut which will be another agonizing 2 day drive. and i'm really fucking angry about it. i know that it's my great uncle but still, this is my vacation and i've been looking forward to it for months. plus, i don't get many vacations where i'm able to stay a whole week and still have four days of driving time. 

my dad doesn't want to go back, he's called my great aunt and asked with her to at least push back the wake and funeral till thursday or friday but that's unlikely to happen. i told him that renee (my great uncle) certainly would understand if he was still here that this was my vacation and if we missed it it wouldn't be too bad, but renee was like a second father to my dad and he really wants to make it. 

so, it's unlikely that we're staying, which makes me fucking pissed, but i guess nothing i say really matters anyway. i'm quitting the roleplay, too. that decision is final, and i'm sorry, but my ooc life is full of bullshit right now, and the only reason i'm still here is because of the people. but it looks like most of the ones i love aren't active anyways. 

i'm not going to reply to any more paras. i'm not going to post anything else. but i am going to keep this blog because it has a pretty fucking nice playlist and if i ever want some tunes to jam to i know where to go.
