I do still stand by my point, which I don't know if I have mentioned here, that Voulez-Vous is SUCH a Grantaire (also Enjolras I guess) song too

"People everywhere/a sense of expectation hangin' in the air"— all the soldiers crowded around to shoot Enjolras, the expectation of the battle being over

"Givin' out a spark"— guns?

"Across the room your eyes are glowin’ in the dark"— Enjolras is across the room from Grantaire.

"Voulez-Vous"— translates in French to "do you want" very close to "do you permit it"

"Take it now or leave it/now is all we get/nothing promised, no regrets"— decide to stand up and die with Enjolras

"the girl means business so I'll offer her a drink"— Mr. Alcoholic of course

"Lookin' mighty proud"— how it described Enjolras early on the scene

"I see you leave your table, pushing through the crowd"— OBVIOUS. Grantaire leaves his sleeping place (the table) and pushes past the soldiers to get to Enjolras.
