i should probably stop reading more than 2 books at a time...i have finally finished 'the sun and the star' though...good book and id reccomed it for anyone who has enjoyed any of the other books by rick riordan
only took me 2 months to read which isnt too bad considering the amount of pages
still working on reading frankenstein if i remember where i put it ..hmm that might be an issue
im only at page 34 and someone had already married his friends daughter
like i know this was written in the 1800s but it still feels yucky

for some god forsaken reason ive started reading frankenstein...tell me why chapter 1 starts all the way on page 33...ive had to read four 'letters' before getting to the main bit
but 32 pages read in one day isnt too bad..nearly back on track with my goal for the year
so i managed to read most of a book today while sat in a cafe then i finished it at home
it was 'A stroke of the pen (the lost stories)'...its a selection of short stories written by terry pratchett under a few different pen names
id reccomend it if you just want some small stories to read at a time or to get into reading pratchetts work
finally finished ruin and rising...great book had me in tears near the end which is rude
next book on the list is the sun and the star
trying to get through my stack of unread books should last me until well into next year..doesnt stop me buying new ones though which is a bit if a problem
First lockwood and co book finished, it's good and I'd recommend it
currently reading the last shadow and bone book, forgot how much I enjoyed the writing style ...don't remember the name of the book though
edit: ruin and rising...god my memory is awful
I preordered faithbreaker ages ago and it came in the post yesterday
my god is the cover pretty and the end papers..ooh boy am I looking forward to reading it
hopefully finishing the first lockwood and co book before this weekend then I'll get through more of my tbr pile

First book of the year finished. the sequel to Godkiller, sunbringer.
started it back in April 2024, it took a while to read but was just as good as the first book.
honestly great ending and I'm looking forward the the final book coming out in march
books read each month
January: 4 [six of crows, trapped, percy jackson and the chalice of the gods, cemetry boys]
February: 4 [Godkiller, crooked kingdom, half wild, half lost]
March: 0 [turns out good omens takes longer to read than expected]
April: 2 [Good omens, stone]
May: 0 [exams are a nightmare]
June: 2 [the midnight library, sandman volume 1]
July: 1 [ballad of songbirds and snakes]
August: 1 [shadow and bone]
September: 1 [seige and storm]
October: 0
November: 1 [field guide(spiderwick chronicles)]
December: 0 [currently working on the hobbit, my god Tolkien is a wordy writer]
total books read: 16
I've finished reading seige and storm which was the next book in the shadow and bone trilogy.
taking a brief break from that series to read the hobbit
currently on chapter 3 and it's pretty good.
took long enough with exam revision but I've finally finished the reread of shadow and bone
on to the next book in the series...
I can't remember what's it's called but it's on my book shelf
I'm on book 14 for this year and I'm rereading shadow and bone before continuing with the trilogy

nearly done with reading good omens. absolutely brilliant book would highly recommend. it's just taken ages to read
I've read the first few pages so far. It's hard to get into a book these days...
i totally get that, it takes a while but gets good further in
it may have taken over a month but I've read good omens now
in summary great work book written by two great authors
would say crowley and azeraphel are gay but they're genderless (angel and demon)....they definitely are though
