Penelope: how much you look like your brother,

Penelope: My husband? It’s almost as if…

Penelope: He’s here, with me…

Penelope: Back home.

Because of how chaotic the process of making the series was, most of the lore and backstories lived in my head. I’m sure there are docs and things explaining stuff, but a lot of it is unfortunately lost to time.

During my move to Helsinki I found this though: The “Season Bible” I had to write up to pitch the season to executives before we got the greenlight to start making it. It’s funny to see what was already in there at the beginning, what’s missing, and also some of the BS I put in to make certain executives happy. But hey, that’s the process. Thought y’all might get a kick out of it:

Okay I’m so confused and wish to have a good faith discussion. Is Homer really the end all be all to all things related to the odyssey/telegony?

Like, the myths surrounding Odysseus and his family existed well before Homer, with their own multiple endings and interpretations, and he just wrote his own version down, right?
