Summary

Nightmare has always thought Blueberry is a little cute, so when the ignorant skeleton starts trying to talk and befriend him, he notices something he never thought he'd feel for the enemy. It's not love! Definitely not at all! He's just... very interested in how he could be even cuter when smiling, or laughing, or blushing.

...Fuck.

When Blueberry finds out one of the Dark Sanses is his soulmate, he can't help but want to contact him, even against the Star Sanses advice. Of course, his soulmate is non-other than one of the strongest monsters in the whole multiverse, Nightmare. He's not going to let that sway his decision. After all, everyone deserves another chance!

But when was Nightmare so kind?

Cross got captured (when he still worked for Nootmare) by the Star Sanses, because they wanted to show him that there is more to the Multiverse than he thought. It took months with A LOT of  Conversations between the three and Cross, to make him reconsider his way of thinking, plus the facts that nobody from NMs gang came to rescue him and that the Stars were being really nice, friendly and actually letting him roam around in the Star’s HQ. So eventually, he started helping the Stars... 

Now skip to a few months later and the Stars officially welcomed him to the Star Sanses (the second flashback in the lil’ comic). It was all going great ,maybe even perfect, until one fine day. Cross made a mistake in battle and Blue paid the price for it with his life (the 1. flashback). The (now only) 3 Stars fled, shocked and devastated. This was the moment Cross realized his Idiot self had actually fallen in love with all three of them and he never ever wanted to lose one of his Stars (heh) again. You could say around this time, he started to become a little insane/yandere, bc of his now growing paranoia...

So lets cut it short here, bc i think i’m starting to ramble :’). Cross talked to Ink and Dream to quit their “job” as guardians, but ofc they refused to do that... So he did the only thing he could think of to keep them out of danger... forever...
