there's this account on bluesky that just randomly samples the last reply someone made before getting blocked by the person they were replying to and it's a really good gimmick blog concept. I don't think tumblr data is public enough to make this possible here unfortunately. some samples:

it's something we think a lot about, this fact that the world just really doesn't accommodate for people that aren't Women or Men. there's an interview with sam smith (i think???) where they mention something about how they've just had to accept that people will always misgender them at first until corrected. and for us, even surrounded by people who care in a relatively safe environment, it still happens. we're used to it, but over and over, there's that assumption. if you're trans, you're the "opposite" of what you were assigned at birth. or you're basically just cisgender with a fun dash of side pronouns.

Also whenever referring to gender queer folks its always trans AND nonbinary. Which i’m sure some people like but at least for me it always feels like they’re saying we’re not also trans. I’ve had people say that I, and other nonbinary people aren’t even trans. Even though I’m still a different gender from what I was assigned at birth. It’s awful.
