ugh like the thing with my mum is that she very obviously has a disordered relationship with eating shes said she had bulimia when she was younger and shes lost a scary amount of weight recently and she barely eats to the point where im genuinely concerned about her health but then she keeps projecting it onto me and constantly negging me to lose weight and making me weigh myself bc shes convinced ive put on 50 kilos in the past two days even though ive been at pretty much the same weight for the past year+ and shell start screaming and throwing plates at me bc i bought a prawn cocktail or whatever the fuck and like i know on some level it's bc she cares about me and shes just been convinced that being skinny will solve all my problems and basically we need to start killing and killing and killing the weight loss industry
