cooked up some beef bacon tonight and it's the blandest cured meat I've ever had. Inoffensive, pleasant enough texture, but it only tasted like seasoning (and it's underseasoned). It's better than turkey bacon (texture is nice) but nowhere near as good as pork. I'll do some eggs tomorrow in the rendered tallow and see how that goes.

It's been a few weeks later and it's tomorrow now. Beef bacon tallow is much blander than pork bacon lard. Pigs is where it's at babies.

I like them more than Beyerdynamic DT-770, Sennheiser HD600, Sony XM3, and every earbud or IEM I've tried. I get exhausted by a lot of high end and these are perfect for me.
