As you can see that Sasuke himself had made the stabs non-lethal via the timely usage of Raiton, which showed his reaction speed to be faster than Bee's; and that was the only time Karin ever healed Sasuke during that Bee battle and the only time she ever healed him during any battle. Anyone who claims otherwise is just a shit-stirring chode at this point. A troll that's perpetually toxic and makes navigation through these fandom spaces insufferable. Don't even bother engaging with this lot. Also, here's that scan that shows the statement from Bee that Sasuke's speed is as fast as cloaked Ae's speed:

So I'm not making this claim—Bee is. In fact, Sasuke would've been faster had he fully healed himself through a good rest. This is confirmed by 4 people, including Sasuke himself. I won't bother with the scans as I've already posted them before in that Sasuke versus Bee post. It's fairly lengthy, requires a clean-up, but you can give yourself a little trouble and look for it.

The second time Karin healed Sasuke is when Obito pulled the unconscious Sasuke into his pocket-dimension and Karin, as well, and ordered her to heal Sasuke, who'd lost consciousness due to chakra exhaustion:

That's 2 times. Good? Now, remember when I said at the start that Karin healed Sasuke 2.5 times? Well, here's why: when she was healing Sasuke whilst Danzo was dying, her healing was interrupted by Mokuton overtaking Danzo's body. This is shown in the following images:

Immediately, Sasuke stopped biting her and proceeded to finish off Danzo; and, well, Karin, too, but that's a different matter. What's important is that Sasuke's low on chakra, enough that Obito asks him to go and rest (this is after he'd stabbed through Karin to get to Danzo):

Then we see Karin saying that she'd healed Sasuke:

Which, curiously, is different from other translations:

This is further backed by the fact that Sasuke was shown to be completely exhausted after he'd used Susanoo once and just two Chidoris. After that, he could barely stand up:

And Obito's shown to back up his statements again that Sasuke needs to return to the hideout and get some rest:

Look carefully, because the panel (middle portion) shows that Sasuke's trying to get up, but can't seem to and is huffing and puffing. He's that exhausted, so there's no way Karin healed him fully as he used the hell out of Susanoo, Amaterasu, Genjutsu, and other Ninjutsus against Danzo. Remember, he made Danzo deplete all the chakra that fueled the nearly dozen or so Sharingans in his arm (every time the Sharingan eye closed in his arm, Karin observed that his chakra plummeted). In fact, we weren't even shown all the frames of the battles. Just the important bits as the fight was going on in the background whilst Obito explained away Izanagi. So it was never a step by step showing of the battle.

First and foremost, there are over 90 replies in this thread, and most of them offer a different opinion and/or facet of opinion in regard to the character and its role in canon. Easy enough. This, my dearest followers, is what we call depth. Yes, it's its undisputed definition in literary context: the more you can speculate, debate, and opinionate about a character, contextualize it from varied perspectives, regardless of your likes and dislikes, the more depth a character possesses. I mean, honestly, what do these fan-fiction (FF) writers think depth is? Some un-scaled puddle of...goodness, likability, and relatability in a character's bosom? Be sincere, what? And this is the only character that brings out these visceral responses, for good or for ill. So yes, the character, indisputably, has the most depth in canon--in many manga canons, in fact, as you'd come across very few characters like this in post-modern media. To be blunt, a character that garners a definitive opinion from the masses? One that's universally beloved? Reviled? That character has very little depth as there's very little to speculate on.

To elaborate on the other point before I tackle the blights that are CD and redemption, I'd say this: when people make a tiresome list of what Sasuke shouldn't have done, do they realize that they're writing so many aspects of a single character? You do realize that that's complexity, right? Are we on the same page? Good, because I don't think you people know anything about a single word/term that you abuse, and it's absurd, if anything. Once you write out these long and embarrassing dissertations on one character, you're, inadvertently, admitting to the character's many dimensions; and a character doesn't even require multiple dimensions to be complex; a single dimension that's intimately explored and given many perspectives is perfectly complex.

Simply because you hold disagreements in regard to the actions he took, the way he conducted himself, and his overall psyche doesn't mean that each and every one of these decisions, aspects, and goals aren't aspects that make up a single character. Flattening everything to meanness is such a fandom thing to do, when you're the ones making up these lists of his "transgressions". The same transgressions that are tangible character aspects. What else do you think complexity is? Throwing in caveats about "inner conflicts" (dear gods, this phrase is juvenile as it means pretty much nothing in the grand scheme of things) doesn't drag any fruitfulness to this stale discourse. It just makes it more ridiculous, because conflicts can be...endlessly diverse. To demand that a character ought to display this set of conflicts that "I approve of" and not the other...? What's the argument here? It just comes across as a toddler throwing his toys out of the pram and having a tantrum episode. It's not very productive and demands from the characters only behaviors that you approve of, are familiar with, and find "likeable".

And which aspect of the manga Sasuke doesn't single-handedly helm? Haku, Kimimaro, and Nagato? All their narratives ended into him and vanished. (What makes Sasuke more complex than Nagato are the multiple climaxes Sasuke's narrative has and Nagato's doesn't.) The Uchiha Clan, shinobi dissidents, and child soldiers? What becomes of children when they're cast into constant turmoils that are intended to lift them up? Ironies that destroy many but remake few? The lost boys, angry youth, and isolated children? The spirit of youth that intends to deliver a different future, away from the generational trauma, the Curse of Hatred? Come on! You can't tell me that that's not exceptional characterization. Your disagreements don't take away from the many lists that you write out. They're there. They exist. They define the character. That's just what complexity stands for!

Moving on, then we've got the dreaded CD and redemption. I'm sorry, and I've beaten this dead horse to mush at this point, this word is utterly pointless in spite of the the fact that it's peddled relentlessly in mainstream discourse, because, apparently, even "character regression (CR)" is a thing now. As if characters are some sort of donkey-carts that go forward and then lurch backwards, never quite reaching their destinations; and not, I don't know, entirely fictitious entities that are make-believe instruments to make some sort of point--or not. Basically, what these FF-obsessed tools firmly believe is that becoming a "good person", whatever that means in a hyper-militaristic context, is what CD is, when CD isn't exactly a thing. Characters are either dynamic or not. (There's an in-between state according to some critics, but I personally don't agree with it.) Whatever a character does to be dynamic is completely irrelevant. This fandom needs to let that sink in, but, Lords, is that cranium fucking thick! The reading comprehension and media literacy? Stuff of tragedies.

I've highlighted The Redemptive Self: Stories Americans Live By (Dan P. McAdams) many times on here, and I'd do so again as this is what these readers think amount to good stories, not any other ones; and this is the mold Sasuke has to fill to be considered a "good character", when, in reality, this is a caricature that has to follow, and to use the terms FF aficionados might get, expected "story beats" to reach a conclusion that's the same for all these "misfits"; you, basically, "rise above yourself" and some other bumper-sticker hog-wash Western sentimentality like that, because that's the American Dream and the western dream, one which is deeply entrenched in Christian ethos, believe it or not. In short, you turn yourself into "the best version of yourself" and reach some sort of heights in the status-quo (which, in very simple terms, just means the established elements of normalcy in a particular social-system).

That'd naturally require the character to behave in a way that's considered socially good, acceptable, and well, endorsable; to cut the long chase short, your perfect integration into the status-quo is what ought to be the destination every character has to arrive to. Should arrive to. Ought to arrive to. It's imperative that this is where it ends up; otherwise, the writing and/or character is "bad", didn't live up to its potential, and others deserve better and it deserves less. You see where I'm going with this? A character being deserving of something or undeserving of something is purely a transactional social attitude that's very much a part and parcel of American redemptive stories (western stories). Christian stories. There's almost this "sinner ending up in a personal hell" argument here, which is so easy to see as, frankly speaking, ending up "all alone", without romance at the end of this journey, is such a post-modern capitalistic "dating market" argument that you can't help but split your sides with laughter at the cheapness of it all. Of course, if you end up in jail, in physical isolation, on top of the social isolation, without a partner, then even better. That'd ought to show the character! That'd ought to send the message across that it "faced the consequences of its actions", paid its dues for treating the well-meaning friends and potential please-beat-up-my-pussy hopefuls. Never mind that the entire status-quo is built from the ground up on the very ugly military mores that are maintained through the honest-to-kami methods that can only be labelled as fascism; but its denizens blush with national spirit and communal murder-sprees and some "poor women tears", too; so all is well and good and disruption has to be discouraged, or you'd have the Sasukes on your hand, the manifestations of the dream's end; hence, this fandom's koo-koo obsession with punishments and redemptions.

It's a sort of minced up post-modern Christianity and its promises of redemption in which every individual's trajectory has to be the same and the destination has to be the same; only then, all of them can hold their head high and live normally, naturally, and beautifully; sure, you can make some pit-stops at "acting a little uppity" stations, but no crai-ah-zee detours, please; however, you're also magically hyper-individualistic for some reason. The very product that's sold in this post-capitalism neo-liberal pandemonium; and we'd be visiting this castle in hell soon enough. (It's the sort of comical contradiction they're not intellectually equipped to rationalize; they're fucking stupid, you see.) So "lift yourself up by your boot-straps", follow a trajectory that's socially acceptable regardless of the socio-cultural context, and then be a good fucking person...? Did I get it right? I'm shocked that you mother-fuckers don't go to the Church every Sunday morning. Thump your bibles real hard. Tighten your good-man belts and fuck your trad-wives before you head out; and if you're the holder of the other equipment, then pleat your aprons. Hold up your skirts in folds every morning and sometimes after lunch, too. And pull down the knickers to do God's duty for the prevention of The Great Replacement. Seriously, just look at these replies that are dripping thickly with dollar-store American morals, and for what? In defense of an establishment and its die-hards for whom even genocide isn't off the table? This almost reads like farce, but rest assured, like most American fuckers, they're dead serious! (Kishimoto wasn't even close to this level of superficiality at the worst "we don't talk about those things" he wrote.)

What I want to know is this: what does any of this have to do with "good writing"? I'm beside myself with curiosity. It's a way to write, sure. Not the way to write. It's not even a good way to write. Yes, it's placatory, provides you with the much-needed reassurances to simmer down your social anxieties, as laughable as it is; but I didn't know that you were this writing's torrid kernel, effects of post-modern moral pinnacles, its very moral nexus (lol?), not the character; and, to top it off, redemption isn't even a concept in Japanese thought; and it wasn't so after many aspects of Buddhism were taken into Shinto, which ran concurrently with it later, via Chinese influence. Same for Confucius thought that became so deeply embedded into Japanese philosophies in the Edo Period. Bushido was basically Confucian. Why do you want a Japanese manga, whose culture and syllabary (Japan didn't even have one before Chinese influence, which is why Kanji is a thing) was very much moulded by Chinese thought, to go through the motions of Christian dogma? This is a question this fandom has to ask itself as to why it wants this manga to turn into a dogmatic tale of religiosity? Christian religiosity? Hip Christian religiosity, if I bite my tongue for a moment. One that's acceptable to supposedly atheist readers? (What's funnier is that Christianity makes up the heart of modern, post-religion Western system; the perfect irony, though I don't expect these illiterates to be very enlightened on this front.)

What this manga does with sublime simplicity is that it culturally rejects, with an iron-fist--a chidori-fist--and delineates the glorious obliteration of the notions, the American ones, that the land you call home and its perfect status-quo is a place of endlessly opportunity and prosperity, without any kinks in the system in sight; and that all the imperfections are merely surface-level and not what the system is, the reality of the conditions people reside in. The conditions the children reside in.

Last but certainly not the least, the reply on "fallen angel" is so absurdly stupid that I'm shocked it was even made. Which "fallen angel" is this poster talking about? Christian? Naturally, angels, as most people know them, are entirely Abrahamic; and I highly doubt that this poster knows much about other two, Judaism and Islam, as he seems pretty kooky. (Don't want to get into as to how this concept is almost entirely taken from Zoroastrianism, but let's leave that be; his head might blow up to pieces with the information overload.) If so, which one was redeemed? Did it happen in his favorite ecchi anime/manga, High-school DxD? Which one, then? (Fuck Lucifer; I absolutely despise that show.)

The Sin, which occurred before The Original Sin, one that set everything into motion, was about the desire to attain equity with God. That, in religious doctrine, is not only an unforgivable sin but also completely deserving of eternal damnation. I don't believe this guy knows what "infinity" entails; otherwise, he'd have spared us all that absurd word-salad. If not that, what else? Satan from Paradise Lost? The Epic that constructed the way for these "anti heroes", as you mother-fuckers call it? Which part of that Epic is about redemption of the fallen? Because when you fall in biblical terms, you fall so far down that even wings can't carry you out, because that pit, that pandemonium, is eternal. Literally and metaphorically. As God, Omni (all) personified, personally struck you down; he made it his business to make your life a living hell. Literally, fellas. No one's defeating an abstraction into which all concept of change, time, and possibilities go to perish. You'd have to transform (into the great serpent) and trick to wriggle free yet remain all the same to inflict things in the same, here it comes, negative space. You don't say? The more things change, the more they stay the same. Only now, it's forever and ever and ever! I can't stress enough that just how stupid that comment is; but his waifu-for-laifu in DxD told him that it's possible, so you better believe it, fr!

Ah, yes, feelings. Very sensitive. Very precarious. Very identity defining. Where would we all be if we didn't belch out our fee-fees that rolled out of the hospital bed, hurt at places, to cry out about Sasuke and his meanness? Feminism was invented for this shit! Heck yeah!

And it's always about these damned screen-shots, isn't it? You know what? I'm going to get straight to the point, cut through all this "feminism fluff": How else should he phrase his feelings, a little boy who’s extremely traumatised from, you know, the genocide and torture he experienced? There's absolutely nothing wrong with how he expresses himself. He’s blunt, to-the-point, and has a no-nonsense approach, which, frankly, I find to be very refreshing compared to the passive-aggressive way in which Sakura functions, in which most people function. Also, this intense, hyper-fixation on “careful wording” has morphed into a war against authenticity. Just how many times should anyone run a sentence-marathon through his mind till he acquires the permission to utter it? (And since you people lack reading comprehension, I’d throw in a disclaimer here: this isn’t a free licence to be racist; I’m talking about being generally honest in conversations.)

Why should Sakura’s feelings be pedestalized? Why should any woman's, any person's feelings be pedestalized? I don’t understand this mantra that’s constantly peddled by Sakura fandom and their “pop feminism adjacent ilk” at all. It’s pointless, means nothing, and adds nothing to the conversations at hand. Seriously, humour me, why are her feelings and personhood sequestered, nearly consecrated, from the world she belongs? Cherry-picking the scans of a boy who wants nothing to do with her, highlighting that how sad she is, because he called her irritating? When, in the grand scheme of things, this is pretty…mundane stuff. Not very chummy, but hardly malicious. Is he out to get womankind, subjugate them, every time he utters the "that which must not be spoken" (irritating)? Sincerely, what’s with this weaponizing of her tears and womanhood to peddle “she deserved better”? It’s one of the hallmarks of white feminism. It’s fascinating how much you lot project onto Sakura to play this tired old game that leads nowhere.

And frankly, all that character analysis? Yes, that’s precisely why I’d have never been interested in reading such a stale, boring, and hysterically mediocre character like that. Yes, her insecurities drive her character. Yes, she feels inadequate. Yes, that’s why she latches onto Sasuke. And yes, his rejections only make her feel more unworthy, which is why she chases so desperately as she’s constructed her worth around him. We get it; however, what does it do in regard to the world around her? The story of a middle-class girl who overcomes her insecurities and moves on from a boy…whilst the world remains embroiled in brutal warfare, a war-machine that’s nigh unstoppable, one which demands sacrifices and leaves countless children ruined in its wake? That reads like some kind of parody. Why would anyone read the former over the latter? Can someone give me one appropriate reason? Any reason for this manga to contort into a slice of life snippet of a middle-class girl-dreamer's life over...whatever is happening in the war-zone? The point of the manga?

A lot of liberal women just adore this…fairly passable character, because, as this woman (who’s over thirty, if her posts are anything to go by) stated, she sees herself in her. Yes, her being a middle-class chaser is the point, but it ought to begin with and end on that point. There’s no need to extend it beyond more than it is, because there isn’t anything more to this, but Sakura fandom just refuses to get this.

When it’s election year, it’s “Trump bad and defeat fascism by voting it out”, and here, it’s “Sasuke’s bad and defeat fascism through my white-woman stand-in finding love, success, and kids in a war-torn world, because it ought to be about me and not some minority-coded characters over there”. 

And who’re “all these girls”? Who’s we? Is there a quasi-Naruto-verse liberal in your pocket? Turning Leaf’s dearth of “power fantasies” for female fascists into a palatable rainbow imperialism, a ladder to female success, is something else—and these fanfictions read like that CIA recruitment ad: aggrandize the womankind who leave their family, cat, and kitchen behind to join the military’s “cause”. What? Is this supposed to be some badge of honour? Lord forbid, feminism? Fuck this petty apologism. It happens all the time in these spaces that have been utterly polluted by these white feminists (or proponents of white feminism); and when they read a little ahead in canon, grease their dried-out brain-cells with the lubrication of reading comprehension, and watch their “girl-boss candidate” shit the bed in every fucking panel that concerns the criticism of the military industrial complex, all these “pragmatic progressives” hysterically cry in their chicken tenders and then cry foul—a lot. Liberals with their petty sloganeering like black lives matter, science is real, and “military women deserve better”—what does it have anything to do with what Kishimoto is tackling? There has to be some “connect the dots” there, no? To make it make sense? What’s the end-game here? All this misinterpretation of what Naruto stands for reminds me of the debacle that’s the Hunger Games, a book series that was inspired by Iraq War; yet all it did was glorify Lawrence, an open Zionist, and her quirky memes. it’s the best illustration of creating the market of relatability for a populace that entirely benefits from privilege, and Sakura is privileged, because there's nothing wrong with her life, in her life, about her life—extremely privileged, unlike the children akin to Sasuke; and what’s funny—funnier, in fact—is that what people trip over is that Sakura's love for Sasuke is shallow, when the main point—the point—of her character is that her entire outlook on the shinobi world is hilariously shallow, and that was what Kishimoto implied when he called her a sort of “weak-link” in one of his interviews. 

She doesn’t understand Sasuke—anything beyond her own world, just like the readers that see themselves in her. And that’s extremely ironic! Which is why it's comical how the people that constantly repeat ad nauseam that Sakura’s such a “badass girl-boss” are the very same people that turn around and demand that Sasuke ought to treat her like a fragile little flower when she was a fully trained soldier that specifically sought Sasuke out to kill him. Why? Because strings of slime hang down from her vag whenever he’s in the near vicinity. He ought to honour that. It’s his fault for arousing her nether regions, the dreams that scale the road to shtupping! You lot sound exactly like the vermin on Fresh and Fit, only with a vagina down there—I’m not even kidding! The fucking sexual entitlement, the greasy responses, is there for all to see, and by God, this male character isn’t even real! (One can only wonder how you behave in real life in the wake of rejections.)

The problem is that the crowd that operate in this way are mostly Western liberals, and for them, the only people that deserve any sympathy are the "perfect victims": ie, people who are just being killed, because otherwise, it’s just "hate”—curse of hatred, ha-ha, psyche! As soon as any of said victims, fictional or real, retaliate it becomes very, very "complex". And if these “imperfect victims” believe in anything that isn't liberalism, then they're very obviously evil and anything they do within that framework can only lead to more evil. The solution? More white, middle-class women to off-set these “evil men”, of course, because “women are wonderful”. There’s no self-reflection, no historical contextualization as to why any of this got so bad. Nope. “More female prison guards, drone pilots, and Hokages”, because it’s, you know, very complex.

These are just extremely stupid historical cliches that have found their way into this post-modern western liberalism and the ideals of liberal feminism as an extension, supplemented by the tunnel-visioned views of Western politics, which, basically, is socio-political and cultural illiteracy by fitting everybody into a very tight political compass, and judging them by that idea. That’s why there’s an entire market of “emotionally marketing yourself as good”, weaponizing relatability and identity, and the janitorial concern-trolling that follows this brand of “self commodification”. Why else do you think self-help seminars and the wackos that run them are such a hit with this populace? That’s why their version of “benign sexism” is so popular: female agency is only agency if she brutalises men; otherwise, it’s just wife battery, irrespective of context. Which is why the “abuser” allegations are so appealing to them; it’s a worn out argument that's meant to gain them sympathy by default. It reminds me of the “French white feminists”, fascists, basically, coming out of the white supremacist wood-works to comment on the youth riots that started in the wake of the killing of a non-white kid. Apparently, “it’s always the men” was their response to this. It’s almost as if this is what this parliament of wankers stops at, as well: “it’s always the men”, and as Sasuke is the eternal source of Sakura’s shame, their shame, he’s treated the same way. It’s all benevolent sexism as if Sasuke, men in general, owe privileged women some sort of debt, and if they don't come through, well, watch out, because it's the white women's turn now; and they'd make you pay, if not in real life, then in their FFs! (Too bad, so sad that the world-order is shifting at neck-break pace, and the crown, once it's transferred to you, would be riddled with turd, remnants of white supremacy's glory.)

This is the primary reason why they gloss up the mental illnesses of various characters and have Sakura cure them (this is pretty much the foundation for all Sakura x insert a traumatised Uchiha here FFs; their pitiful understanding of harrowing war-conflicts and the irreparable damage that’d inflict on its victims, a damage your cunt can’t cure). A lot of people, to be perfectly blunt, are sympathetic to mental illness till the affected individual displays some sort of behaviour that shatters the cosplay versions in their head. Then it’s back to the drawing boards and teaching Kishimoto “how to write”, because only they know how victims of war-crimes would react as, you know, they’re white women oppressed by the patriarchy, its greatest victims; so, of course, all their “plight” is easily translatable into how Sasuke and others like him ought to react, and “respect white women juice” should always be their priority. Not state-dismantling or anything. No, no, it’s this.

That’s why Sakura has turned into this “the pick me final boss” that they dread, because the version in canon, the snivelling girl with petty self-esteem issues that chases down Sasuke to boost her ego, clashes hard with the version in their heads; so they desperately try to fix her; but, sadly, as the old adage goes, there’s nothing new under the sun, they don’t have much creativity in their attempts. There’s no true adventure to be had in their “girlboss stashes”, just some braindead Uchiha male platoon that comes by to lick up her suds as she washes in the showers of white matriarchy. The true adventure is the rabid shippers we made along the way!

And, you see, Madara and Itachi, even Shisui and possibly Obito, too, would’ve treated her right, unlike Sasuke. Source: arse-crack pipe, but it doesn’t stop them from insisting that that’s how canon was supposed to be written till Kishimoto stole their dream-boats; and Itachi that aids-positive character was gentle (lol?), so he’s obviously the better Sasuke. Never mind the fact that Hashirama, Madara’s spiritual brother, couldn’t change him, but Sakura would—if she could, but that Kishimoto, women-independence hater. Why? 'Cause she fucking can. And Itachi that child-torturer and killer, the state’s numero uno throat-goat, didn’t even bother acknowledging her existence in canon; he addressed everyone by the name but her; that doesn’t make her special; that makes her pointless in his perspective. She was simply beneath his considerations. 

Funnily enough, very truthfully, the only time any Uchiha ever bothered to interact with her was when she was either in his face or tried to attack him. Beyond that, they went about their day, not bothering themselves with her, albeit she was in the near vicinity. Heck, Sasuke, the source of their endless woes, didn’t reciprocate no matter how many times she threw herself at his feet—even the prospect of easy sex with her didn’t appeal to him, which is interesting as he’s a teenage boy. Then why would others be any different when canon showed them to be brutally apathetic to her existence at the best of times? Shouldn’t that clue you in that, to some men, women like her would never be of any value? It’s almost as if you want to course correct that and wrap that up in…whatever dollar-store ideology you have on you at the present time.

Fact is, an individual doesn’t exist outside ideology–neither does she and neither do you. Propagating politics of consumerism—identity politics—basically, abandoning class politics in favour of elevating identity politics/categories is hardly the hill you want to bleed out on. This isn’t anything novel and has been discussed to death in sociological research. Even the shipping obsession you have, the idea of “elevation of self through romance” is simply another facet of a capitalistic dream (1, 2, & 3). You haven’t subverted anything, unearthed anything grand, and done anything shocking to move the needle in this discourse. This is all tried, true, and tested slop, your propensity for seeking validation from men of means—just like Sakura’s. In the end, I’d say this: if a woman accomplished something and there’s no man to see it, no man to humiliate and put down for her ascension, does the woman really accomplish anything?

The circumstances in the warring era were the same for all warning clans. Tobirama and his band of Senju thugs aren’t special snowflakes who went through some unique tragedies unknown to warriors. People lost their brothers all the time—so did Madara. Tobirama’s fear is understandable as it arose from the antagonism both clans shared. Tobirama creating policies that illustrate his bias are also understandable. The fandom gurgling his balls to agree with all this as if he’s some sort of "voice of rationality" that can’t be challenged isn’t understandable. These three arguments can be right at the same time, especially when he created policies out of fear and hatred, which makes him far more susceptible to the “curse of hatred” than anyone else. The very same policies that engendered corruption in the entire shinobi realm. 

You can only stretch so much of the goodwill here to give this particular character a pass, when all evidence is magnificently stacked against him. Even Orochimaru called him out. The dude’s jutsus purely exist to sow conflict and engage in deplorable warfare that utilises shambling corpses that require sacrifices. (He never invented a single jutsu to ever deescalate the violence; quite the opposite, all his jutsus exist to magnify them, only now, with his clan and its sympathisers at the helm of this war-machine; before that, they could be subjected to it.) That makes him a seasoned necromancer, so the entire idea of some “benign warrior that saw right through Uchiha bullshit to become the sole voice of reason” is just your slimy masturbation talking. None of this is canon. Write your “nuance” with a clean hand next time.

2: All of this is just pointless speculation backed by nothing. He is racist as he, by your own admission, was prejudiced, which was born of fear. You can dress up this plain and simple aspect as “caution”, but it doesn’t change a thing that he created socio-political disparity of his own freewill, when he could’ve just refused to make an alliance with the Uchiha and established his own village. Furthermore, Chapters 670, 671, & 681 have zero mentions of the term Curse of Hatred. Neither Hagoromo nor Zetsu even mention, imply, or reference it. I can’t believe this poster literally lied through her teeth to push forward this wankery. It’s hilarious. What Hagoromo stated is that the older brother lashed out because he chose the younger one as his heir. Later, he clearly states that descendants of both his sons quarrelled and the Bijuu, which he left for peace, are only being weaponized by the villages; so his thinking was naive. I don’t ever remember the Uchiha weaponizing the Bijuu as WMDs for village use; oh wait, that was all Tobirama, who, with his brother, kick-started an arms-race backed by technocratic fascists who created nothing but chaos in the long run. All the subsequent wars can be rightly placed at their feet for their abysmal policy-making and hyper-militarism by creating a centralised system of war machine. How good is your “nuance” till now? 

Also, an older son lashing out at the father for choosing the younger one is curse of hatred now? Are you lot new to how property is transferred in Confucian system, which later became the basis for law in the Edo Period? I get it that you lot are very culturally illiterate but this is…laughable as in Japan, to this day, all property, every single penny, goes to the oldest son; and nothing is given to any other children, sons or otherwise. If there’s no son and only one daughter, then the property is transferred to the son-in-law. Doing what Hagoromo did was a sign of extreme disrespect. This isn’t curse of hatred; it’s just a different culture reflected in the manga written by, here it comes, a Japanese man. What a shocker that he’d inject his own culture into the manga he wrote? What a reality-defying discovery! Who’s ever heard of anyone doing that—and from another culture? By God!

Last but not least, Zetsu all but confirmed that all the incarnations did was battle each other to attain the Rinnegan. It was never an “Uchiha specific” thing. So why on earth is Tobirama’s opinion given any preference over the word of someone who’s older than Hagoromo?  

3: The Uchiha were systematically shut out from all walks of life save the police and this is confirmed by Tobirama himself. This is confirmed by Orochimaru, as well. And they were systematically isolated as Tobirama was the one who created this system in the first place; he made all the choices, so all the fallout, naturally, is a consequence of his poor decision-making. It’s perfectly reasonable for a military force to have its own set of laws; and frankly, this doesn’t go in Tobirama’s favour as this excludes so much of the military force from scrutiny, given that not only shinobi move in and out of Anbu but they also do the Hokage’s bidding; but, apparently, he wasn’t prejudiced to create a law that placed an entire sector of military, the very sector he used to maintain surveillance on the Uchiha, above the law. That’s literally prejudice! Are you people high? 

The democratic part that’s hidden in the tags is fucking hilarious when he himself was appointed by his brother and then he appointed Hiruzen without voting; who in turn appointed Minato; and then when he died, he appointed himself as the Hokage again; Tsunade was also chosen without any voting. All of this system was created by Tobirama. Funny, how when Hashirama wanted to choose Madara, he cried foul but, from that point onwards, democracy wasn’t ever utilised but instead completely removed from the political system. This is so laughable!

That “bootlicker” part is also completely antithetical to what this moron herself has typed out. He demands absolute obedience and segregates the clan in the name of caution and hyper-militarises this whole thing via centralised military and WMD usage; and to top it off, dissidence is punishable by law in the system he created—to the point that death squads are there to hunt the "uppity crowd" down. Danzo was his student since his Genin days; so was Hiruzen. Then they both became a part of his squad; but, you see, they weren’t taught anything by him. Where’s the negotiation between what Tobirama imposed and how the clan took it? It’s one-sided, so that, by definition, leaves room for future upheaval as the power imbalance allows it to come about. This isn’t complicated. You’re just not capable of basic contextualization. 

Taking away someone's entire sources of support and then expecting that person to abide is lunacy. No one belongs to the past, and the Senju aren’t the future. It’s hilarious how it’s seen this way, straight up a projection of the western “from savagery to the dawn of the civilised man” in regard to the establishment of Leaf from the fandom. Who controls whom, apparently, is seen as a part of the civilised man. A masculine power-fantasy a lot of the Sakura Wankers adore, as well. This is so...textbook patriarchal that I doubt any one of you cunts have read a word of it as you wouldn’t gloss this over with slime of feminism. 

People can challenge these paradigms and their place in them, obliterate them to establish equity. What sort of argument exists against it that’s even remotely rational?
