Last nights low temperatures meant it was time for my donkeys to transform into brrr-os! Remember, donkeys don’t have an undercoat like horses do, so wind and rain can have a major impact on their body temperature. Please, cover your asses! 😜

Drunk donk! While we are slowly chipping away at taming Java, she still is not a big fan of the farrier and needs a little dorm gel to get her through the appointment. Those club feet are starting to look a whole lot less sideways though, and she has to be feeling better every time!

Rumchata has apparently figured out how to escape the donkey pen whenever she chooses, but fortunately she doesn’t go far and always chooses to come right back 😂
