I always wear a padded boot sock or crew sock, but I’m also usually doing a bunch of chores or am otherwise on my feet for several hours apart from just riding so I wouldn’t want to blister! They are very comfy though, like sneakers inside!

Thanks for checking in! I’m going through some personal life stuff that is sadly keeping me too busy to update, but all the horses are well and I’ll try to get back to posting when I can!

I have so many young horses that I really appreciate the extra control the rope nose gives me, with all the safety of a breakaway leather crown price and convenience of being able to use crossties etc! I love them!

Also here’s a fun little moment not included in the original video where I just dropped to the buckle at the canter and went full on western pleasure 😂 I’m still a little bit of a cowgirl even in the sandbox 😉

The injured tendon on day Shanghai Kitty arrived compared to this evening! Over a year of rest and rehab... in one week she goes for another ultrasound, plus a full lameness evaluation to make sure we aren’t missing anything else by focusing so much on the tendon. Excited and nervous about how it will go... it looks and feels much better, but I don’t want to get my hopes up too much. This has been a long road and there’s no telling how much longer it might be.
