Fuckin full length stockings bitch. Cut the legs off them and you’re left with some lovely concealment helpers. 

The “shorts” you’ll end up with are perfect for wearing under pants/shorts/skirts for body concealment. The long “socks” can be used in so many ways. My favourite thing to do is to fold the excess fabric on them down and safety pin them to the inside of jacket sleeves/pant legs to use as a secret pocket. You could also tightly tie them around your waist/ribcage/thighs etc. for more body concealing.

**an easy way to remember types of tags and removal is this:

•the more rectangular, thin, vertical ones are pencil tags

•the ones that are flat and rectangular with a small hole on the side and are curved are for hooks

•dome shaped tags and square shaped tags and tags with those bumps on them are for magnets. They’re magnetic and held together with a pin that the magnet pulls off

•those ugly yellow ones that have the little pyramids are gator tags and require bands of some sort and a magnet helps

•most ink tags (not pictured in this post but will say ink tag and be clear and have visible ink in them usually) require magnets but sometimes bands

Idk if any of you wanna lįft from there but you deff should because #1 they’re overpriced as fuck and their shit boosts really well.

Here are some tips (as always these are location specific to the place I personally worked)

Things are only tagged if they’re over $20

They use hook tags, so you’ll need a hook if you plan on detaging anything.

There is ONE person who opens the store in the morning. The next staff doesn’t come in for a full on hour. And they’re usually hella busy trying to get morning paperwork done to notice shit.

If you’re young and you’re trying stuff on, they do count in fitting rooms but there’s literally no place to hang anything once you’re done so if you leave it all in the room, they won’t notice shit and won’t even count it.

STĘÄL ALL THE NON CLOTHING ITEMS and if you leave packaging, thats okay because we would use the packaging to damage out our stolen items (basically we wouldn’t get in trouble for those because they were “damaged” and anything marked that way gets thrown literally in the TRASH”)

Honestly it’s one of the easiest places to lïft from.

You’re pretty screwed. While not every retailer is this unscrupulous, and many do not monitor fitting rooms, be cautious and always assume you’re being watched.

Think you are being monitored? If you don’t have any cell reception in the fitting rooms, it’s likely there are hidden cameras nearby. The most popular way to hide hidden cameras is behind a two-way mirror, like this one here.

TWO WAY MIRROR TESTS

Get up close and personal. Two-way mirrors work when the room with the mirror side is brightly lit, and the other side of the mirror is kept in the dark. Block out the light with your hands and peek into the mirror. See nothing? Regular mirror. If not, its a two-way.

Light it up. Hold the flashlight on your phone up against the glass and see if you can see anything other than your reflection, like a camera.

I love hoodies. They come in very handy for shôplifting AND procrastinating on my sofa, so I made this guide about how to use them while lífting. Be wise about them for most SAs will automatically think of you as sus the moment you walk in a store wearing one. Try to wear ones that are bright and easily shaded to appear more unconspicuous.

The tucked-in shirt

I have used this a bunch of times before. Just tuck in a shirt, wear a hoodie over it, and drop the items you want in the shirt. The hoodie will prevent anything from looking too bulky and no SA, LP, or security can body search you.

The tucked-in hoodie

Same as the tucked-in shirt method but you tuck the hoodie in and voilà, you can fit bigger items in and even combine the shirt and hoodie methods. This makes the hoodie look more bulky though, so only líft smaller products, or cover yourself up with a jacket or something else.

Sleeving

Sleeving is mad easy with hoodies. The fabric is mostly soft and thick so it’s easy to slide items in and keep them from falling out.

Pocketing

I don’t reccomend this. The front pockets which most hoodies have easily drop items and they can appear bulky if you stuff too much in them. Use this wisely, for extra small objects only, if you have to.

Hooding

This, I also do not reccomend since it’s easy for the items to be visible and fall out. It means that you conceal the item by putting it in your hoodie. It should be doable if you’re not clumsy and are tall enough, but still risky.

The jacket and hoodie method

Take the sleeves of your hoodie, bend the ends, and tie them together with a couple of strong rubber bands. Pull them trough the sleeves of your jacket and toss the whole thing over your arm. While in the store, simply continue to toss whatever you wish to stêal in the sleeves. The jacket prevents them from looking bulky, but be careful about the rubber bands peeking out.
