Nuzi streamer x watcher fanfic!
Over the next week, N officially became a part of uzi's digital community.
He didn’t spam her chat and he never tried to talk over the eighty thousand other voices shouting in her chat room. Instead, he just waited for the high intensity moments, the five game losing streaks and the broken game glitches to try and help calm her down by sending a notfication to drink water.
To Uzi, he was still just "that new puppy guy," a weirdly persistent newcomer who had taken advantage of her channel point notifications, But to the chat, @GoldenRetriever22 was fast becoming a legendary contribution to Uzi's streams.
By Tuesday night, Uzi was streaming a brutal, late night competitive queue of CoreBreaker: Icelandic. She was exhausted, her dark eyeliner was slightly smudged, and she was playing against a group of young teenagers who were deliberately mocking her in the in game global chat.

"ugh! i made the username when i was eight shut up!" Uzi yelled into her microphone, her finger rapidly clicking her mouse to respawn. "You're literally tracking my stream to ambush me at spawn, you coward! Fight me in a fair 1v1 match and I'll blast your digital core to bits!"
Her Twitch chat was moving at an unreadable speed, half of the chat defending her and the other half laughing at her. N sat on the edge of his bed, his laptop resting on his knees. His brows furrowed as he watched Uzi's web camera. Uzi wasn't just doing her standard entertainment rage tonight. Her breathing was shallow, and she kept violently shifting in her gaming chair. Clearly different than how she usually is. He didn't hesitate. He opened the channel store, spent his points, and sent through a notification.

Uzi’s avatar froze behind a digital rock as she stared at the pop up blocking her screen. In the middle of her chatroom flooding with people calling her a failure, a highlighted block of neon text was telling her how she was the best. Her chest gave a sudden, sharp hitch, and her usual grumpiness on her face flickered, revealing a slight soft smile on her face. But before anyone could notice she went back to her short tempered self.
"Ugh, whatever, Retriever," Uzi grumbled, her voice dropping out of its screaming self into a quiet, defensive mumble. She grabbed her silver can, taking a slow sip while keeping her eyes glued to the monitor.
The chat went completely wild, turning into a blur of emotes.

"I AM NOT SOFT!" Uzi shrieked, turning her gaming chair around to stop facing her audience of almost a hundred thousand people. "He's literally a total newcomer! He’s been in my chat for like, four days! Next person to type a heart emoji gets a permanent ban, I swear to robo jesus!"
N leaned back against his pillows, a soft, helpless laugh escaping his chest. He pulled up his chat bar, instead of the channel points to type a single, regular message directly into the crowd.

On her secondary monitor, Uzi watched his regular text line instantly get swallowed by five hundred other messages. She didn't read it aloud, but her eyes locked onto the little paw print emoji before it vanished. She turned her chair around and pulled her black beanie down so low it practically covered her eyebrows, hiding her face entirely from her fans.
