Ostrov is the platform for opinions. The main aim of the magazine is to look at an object from every possible angle. All of articles are written in a such way that audience can form its own opinion on the topic. The authors of articles can be witnesses of some remarcable occasions that emphasizes the idea of the connection between human and politics and political events.The target audience of the magazine are young people (from 25 to 40 y.o.). They are keen on politics and they take part in some events like elections, manifestations etc. Our audience want to understand all the political processes in Russia and the whole world, so the mission of our magazine is to help our audience to make up their minds, to look at politics from the outside, because an island is a territory separate from the continent.The first issue's theme is the protest.

Ostrov c'est une plateforme d'opinions. Le but principal de la revue c'est l'analyse approfondi d'un objet. Les articles sont écrits d'une façon que l'audience puisse former sa position par raport aux evenements et circonstances politiques. Les auteurs des articles peuvent êtres des temoigns des evenements concrets et ce qui souligne l'idée que les gens sont liés avec la politique et les processus politiques.L'audience de notre revue c'est les jeunes gens de 25 à 40 ans qui s'intéressent à la politique et participe aux evenements politiques (les élections, les manifs etc.) et qui veulent comprendre la situation politique en Russie en dans le monde entier. La revue Ostrov les aide à faire leur propre opinion. C'est la mission de la revue, car une île est un territoire distinct du continent, duquel on peut regarder le continent et tout ce qui se passe là-bas. Le premier numèro de la revue est consacré aux protests.

«Остров» — это платформа для мнений. Основная его цель — представить читателю взгляд на проблему с разных сторон. Материалы написаны таким образом, что аудитория на их основании может сформировать собственную позицию относительно тех или иных событий и обстоятельств. В журнале могут присутствовать материалы, написанные очевидцами событий, что подчеркивает идею неразрывности человека с политикой и явлениями, спровоцированными ею.Целевая аудитория журнала «Остров» — молодые люди 25 – 40 лет. Они интересуются политикой, участвуют в политической жизни страны (ходят на выборы, митинги и т.д.) и ставят себе целью разбираться в том, что происходит в России и в мире. Журнал помогает читателям составить свое собственное мнение об этом. Это миссия издания, ведь остров — это отдельная от континента территория, территория, с которой можно посмотреть на континент и все, что там происходит, со стороны. Тема пилотного номера — протест.
