Just a thought but maybe if you’re worried about your children’s safety you shouldn’t tell us where they are every five minutes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tennis was often on in the background for me growing up but it was Wimbledon 2001, when I was 8, that I first fell in love with it. Goran Ivanišević became the first and so far only person to win Wimbledon as a wild card and even if I didn’t 100% know what that meant at the time, I could tell by how invested my family were that this was special. It was a tennis fairytale, something that had never been done before and no one expected. It was exhilarating. Today we saw Arthur Fery become the second wild card to make the semi finals at Wimbledon, 25 years after Goran did it. He may not make the final, he may not win, but he came in as 114th in the world and just won a quarter final match against a top 10 player in straight sets, including a 6-0 final set which is rare at that level of the tournament. And he is such a joy to watch. I really hope there are little 8 year olds who find a sport they love through Fery’s under dog story and his enthusiasm for the game just like I once did.

To be fair every wedding I’ve been to the bride and groom’s parents have insisted on inviting their third cousin who no one’s ever met so inviting people you happen to have met once on a chat show seems pretty normal to me

My mum visited me this week and she just left. Really going to miss her. It's been a hard few weeks for me and I have realised how deeply lonely I feel when I'm not with her.
