A few teasers for upcoming Spidershield stories I haven't finished yet. They won't be done for a while, but I do want them done as soon as I can.
Peter's pulse raced. When Captain America requested he train the kid in a meeting, Peter could only see white. Captain America. Well, one of them, but the first one. Steve Rogers. He saw something special in Peter and when those appraising blue eyes fell on him, he saw potential.
It wasn't like Peter couldn't handle himself. He was sprightly, acrobatic, he could lift a car, but finesse was something else. Steve was coordinated, a mountain of muscle and speed and insight. When they fought together, Steve seemed to know exactly when each person, including Peter, had a handle on which baddie.
Cool air blasted from the vents near the ceiling, but that didn’t stop either men from sweating through their clothes. Sweat dripping down his brow, it ran down Steve’s face into the tight, low cut tank top he wore to exercise, a deep grey stain that painted the shirt onto his muscular torso all the way to his flexible shorts.
Peter, too, was panting a breath. Standing opposite Steve, Peter’s bright eyes took in the sight of his sparring partner. The t-shirt he wore gripped his skin.
After another successful sparring punch to Peter’s arms, shielding the blow, Steve helpfully offered, “Try bringing a little boxing into your fighting.” His eyes trained on the teenager, measuring each punch, pivot, kick. “Don’t be a fixed target in fighting, moving side to side will help keep people off balance and give you more openings.”

Peter was a wild card. He energised Steve.
Making eyes at him from across the crowded party at Stark Industries, Steve wore a tight dress shirt and dress pants that hugged tight to his frame, his eyes scanning the crowd and resting on the young man. His smile lines, the tight grip as he laughs at something his dad said, but Steve wouldn’t join them.
Peter had secrets, and Steve loved being one of them.
Tony would flip his shit. That much was undeniable. Avengers would pick sides for something as silly as a man in his thirties dating a hot, charismatic, chaotic, generous, funny nineteen year-old.
His heart skipping a beat, when Peter looks over and their eyes catch, Steve feels a light blush run up his face. The smirk Peter has, a “caught you” smile, it’s enough to make Steve stop, instantly, as if time froze.
Still, Steve couldn’t linger too long, not with Tony and Peter chatting with, oh, looked like Thor. Gotta keep his eyes to Nat and Bucky, rather than stare at his stud.
