I don't know what they are deciding or if they have decided, but I hope they are happy and healthy with whatever they choose. ❤️

While I do have authorization to photograph for AEW, I will not be in Detroit for those 2 shows! I wish I was though.
The boys have not told me if they’re signing to AEW. They are definitely waiting until their no compete is up (7/24) before they discuss anything wrestling-related. They’ve both been enjoying their sabbatical, doing band related stuff and school (for Alex).
Since we know Chris Sabin plays Pokemon Go, would you happen to know what team he plays for? Valor, Mystic, or Instinct?

So there was another link to join as a client? I read his linktree and it said something like "contact here for 1:1 coaching", I thought that was how it worked.
I think the thing that intrigues me is his philosophy of sorts where he focuses on effectiveness. Most fitness trainers usually go for what makes their client look good aesthetically or just a target weight number but he mainly focuses on can his client be more effective like their range of motion or being more "explosive".
So, if I remember correctly, please, if anyone has more information, do reblog and correct me. He had a thing where he would give out free workout informational stuff. There are probably things he found online, but I wanted to see if it would help in any way. When I filled out my information, it went bye-bye. 😂 Now I just read his book. It worked in making me not pick protein bars, though! I think the 1:1 is like you pay which if you do it please report back!
I like that, too. He is a wealth of knowledge. I hope he starts posting more fitness things soon, even if they are reblogs on his story.

I miss when he did “gear of the day” photos. I had to coach him on how to do it and would constantly yell at whoever took them that his feet were cut off. 😂

Thank you for this question because it allows me to share a little clip of Alex Shelley discussing his favorite X-Men of all time: Multiple Man (who is in this upcoming season of X-Men ‘97 and he’s extremely ecstatic for).
This was featured in his IWTV “The Life Of” series (all 3 parts available for streaming on IWTV).
During the last part of Alex’s career on the indies before going to WWE, the first season of X-Men ‘97 was airing and we had a schedule where we saw each other every other week. It became tradition where we would discuss that week’s episode together!
I haven’t discussed with Chris who his favorite X-Men character is!
In case y’all were wondering, MCMG are very aware that AEW is running in Detroit right after their 90 days are up.
2 years ago when MCMG became double champions in Impact Wrestling led to the one of the most fun times of my life. Accompanying them for a year on the indies (and at TNA) was such a thrill and glad they took me for the ride. I am always going to be so immensely proud of my boys ❤️
When I came back from Japan, I told Alex I wanted to shoot pro wrestling. He encouraged it and brought me with him to shows. After shooting as a fan for a few months, I got booked to shoot shows for real and now I’m at the point in my life where the money from these bookings helps me afford emergency medical expenses.

The times we’ve discussed animals is mostly about how he’s a cat whispurrer (he LOVED me calling him this btw) and how both of the guys really enjoyed hanging out with koalas when they did the Australia tour with TNA in 2023.

I was commissioned by NJPW to take portraits of Jun Kasai for Best of the Super Juniors 33.
Cementing a little piece of my work in one of my favorite pro wrestling tournaments is so fucking cool.
Just a reminder that everyone being released by WWE have a 90-day No Compete clause. All released talent are getting paid out through that 90 days (to keep it legal), but none of them can actually entertain any wrestling-related business decisions or deals until then.
Continue to speculate, but nothing can be concrete until the 90 days are up!
There is so much I want to say about WWE releasing MCMG… but why would you want them to remain in a company where they can’t even use their own signature moves because other wrestlers stole them before they got there???? Sure they can wrestle without them and in their words, “they’re just moves,” but I truly think they lost their identity without being able to use those or have their moves attributed to them correctly. KENTA also suffered from this during his time in WWE due to CM Punk stealing the Go to Sleep from him.
AEW however does properly attribute them on commentary, when talking about the origins of Lee Moriarty and Jay White’s signature moves. MCMG are always put over on commentary in AEW (and NJPW) and I believe was purposely done to leave the door open for their return.

So tiny tidbits about what might happen to them, so they will most likely not do anything related to wrestling for the next 90 days. Technically, they could but then they would lose the financial recomp from WWE.
As for their names, I am pretty sure they are trademarked by Alex before I think (at least Motor City Machine Guns), and they have used those names for both their bands. However, no true worry there as previously released wrestlers said that you could buy those names back from WWE.
My only concern (which might seem like a droplet in a river) is that can Alex continue his 4 year degree? I think it won't matter for the 90 days but does it mean that he has to withdraw as he is no longer in WWE or does he have to pay it from his own pockets?
I figured they were going to have to wait 90 days.
I hope they can keep their names. They do go by them and introduce themselves as such.
I was wondering about the degree, too. He is so passionate about schooling. There are just a lot of unknowns. It all blows. Now we wait and see and hope everything works for the best for them. ❤️

He’s paid for his own degrees by himself and both major companies offer paid tuition :)
