Dom was one of the people she’d known the longest since breaking into the biz. They’d met pretty early on and hit it off well. So well, that she didn’t think twice when offering to marry him to help him get a green card so he could stay in the states, auditioning. It was on paper, it was nothing. So much so, that when he’d began dating one of her friends, Sarah Hyland – and why she’d been dating – neither of them thought anything of it. It was just life. Sometimes they’d go weeks with out talking, and then pick right back up where they were. Recently was a bit different, though. They were both single. Had she thought about it? Sure, but she wasn’t sure if she’d ever act on it, wasn’t he too much of ‘just a friend’ at this point for anything to happen? Hearing her doorbell ring, the red head hopped up and answered the door for him. “It’s about time! I’m starving, and if I open this door and there’s no pizza in your hand, I’m closing it on your face…” @dsherwodd
Dom grinned as he set the pizza down in the bushes beside the door to Zoey’s place. She was going to freak out when she opened the door and he didn’t have a pizza but it was also going to be hilarious. He was proven right when he heard her voice through the door. It was strange to think that technically she was his wife. They’d had to play it up a bit when immigration came around and when he and Sarah got serious he’d made sure to have work papers in case they started asking questions again. But now they were both single again and it was strange to think about it. They’d never really crossed that line. Sure he’d be lying if he hadn’t thought about but he was a guy and she was a hot girl. “I knew I was forgetting something. Oh wait.” He leaned over and grabbed the pizza box and held it out for her. “I’m not stupid enough to show up without food. I am your husband. Pretty sure that would be grounds for divorce.”
