luca wasnât very fond of taking a cab to work but this morning his car wouldnât start so he figured his only option was to take a cab to work. he didnât want to be recognized either thus why he had his raybandâs on. to be recognized was one thing but to be recognized after the assassination of the vice president and the president was another thing. he was tired truth to be told he didnât want go back to workâŚyet. he couldnât wrap his head around the fact that two important figures were assassinated yet people moved on like nothing happened. the press secretaryâs thoughts were interrupted once he heard the woman curse, he looked towards her direction. âitâs rush hour. it happens,â he chuckled taking out his phone, opening the uber app, âyou seem to be in a rush, where are you off to?â he couldnât afford getting worked up over a cab when there was other bigger problems in his lifeÂ
it was always like denise to get caught up in the little dramas that happened when she was specifically avoiding her guilt. no, it hadnât been her fault but she was supposed to be good at her job. unfortunately, she had got that confused with playing god; she wasnât and there was nothing she could have done different to stop the president from dying. if she didnât get out of this mindset, it was going to consume her. denise was never the best at expressing the right emotions. the woman was always hiding behind something and did have a harsh exterior to protect herself. however, that did start to damage her relationships when they were reinforced too strongly. âin no rush, no. doesnât mean my standards should slip.â having nowhere to go was something new but she had brought that on herself.
