For studying、I reccomend translating whatever you're looking for into Japanese、as the information is more likely to be accurate than resources in English

You can always translate those pages back into English if you can't read Japanese！I can look for some pages for you if you'd like

As for practicing、assuming you don't live in an area with shrines、your best option is to create a 神棚 (かみだな)、a ritual shrine/shelf that's used for private worship

There's lots of resources for it、and all in all I think they're cute ww

Outside of that、it's good to learn manners for when you do go to a shrine、such as how to cleanse yourself when entering、how to walk under the gate、how to pray when giving offerings、the kinds of offerings you should give、so on and so forth

It can be nerve wracking、but it's so fun and so worth it！

They kind of mean the same thing to me、but I know Culturally- has been used outside of the rqc、and I wanted to bring it here !

Culturally- is a way to identify with a label that you feel like you're culturally a part of、even if you're not cis of that thing。For example、I feel like I'm CulturallyMexican because I was raised by and around Mexicans、but I don't identify as that race、Trans or Cis

I've seen it used for the term "culturally queer"、which is used by non-queer children of queer parents (eg; a cishetallo child of lesbian mothers) because they feel like they better understand the queer experience because they were raised by queer folks、and may even use the label to identify as queer、despite being cishetallo

-By Proxy is a little sillier、but I use the term in a similar way。Some of my CisMexican friends "adopted" me into being CisMexican、and so I feel like I could identify as being cis because I was adopted into that culture、but don't for whatever reason。This came about by me having to explain irl that I'm not Mexican、but I may as well be Mexican "by proxy" because of the culture I live in and the people who view me as such

First、you should try to figure out what's causing the dysphoria !

I have this (link) post talking about dysphoria relief and this (link) doc talking about most things TransJapanese、if you wanna look at those

There's lots of things that can cause dysphoria, like location、accent、language、physical appearance、and so on、and figuring that out is the first step !

Since you mentioned the makeup thing、I'll go off of that for now !

As much as this can induce MORE dysphoria、I'd reccomend you look at photos of your goals and see the discrepancies between the two to see what you can work on。Nose、eyes、face shape、and even lip shape are all things that you can work towards changing

If changing them is what you want to do、you have a few options ! Obviously、I'll recommend you subliminals、because they really do help ! Even if you don't feel like you see quick results、I find just listening to them makes me feel a lot better

If you really want to change the way you look、surgeries are always an option for the future ! There's cosmetic surgeries for basically anything you could want、and even if you don't have the money to do so now、you could always look into what all exist and plan for the future !

If you don't want to change them、look at photos of people your race that also have those features ! For example、while monolids are more common in Asia、there are plenty of folks with double eyelids、and they're sometimes even saught after !

Just always remember、you're already your race/ethnicity、even if you feel like you look out of the norm <3
