I found his brothers.

He/they are 1998 Chinese knockoffs of a 1998 Tomy Pikachu that squeaks, which I tracked down in my early 20s. I think they’re both cute. 🥰

My old Pikachu is 26 years old! I got him when I was 5 at a Sanrio store that used to exist in our mall, it sold both licensed and knockoff merch. But to me, this fat round Pikachu was everything, no matter where he came from.

My body hurts from digging and pulling in the dirt like a dog for hours, but it’s a good kind of hurt. I’m taking a day off today but I want to do it again tomorrow. Hope I find more weird and cool things to take photos of. I love nature.

The weeds infest the flower beds so repeatedly and quickly because we live in a forest area with lots of birds. The birds come from all over, poop seeds, and we get an ever-expanding variety of new weeds. It’s actually very fascinating. The birds bring so much plant diversity.

The birds also bring tons of new mushroom species to our front and back yards, like that stinkhorn mushroom fruit I found yesterday. That is new! And last year they brought the classic cartoony red cap mushrooms with the cute white dots on them.

Update: I learned it's the fruit of a decomposing phallic-mushroom! Makes sense, I saw a foreskin-looking thing nearby.

I don't have much in the way of funds at the moment, but when the information as to how to make cost-efficient and good-quality prints comes to me, and when I have the funds, I'll see to it!
