Vaguely, William wondered where Thomas had gathered up enough coin to return back to his family, but pushed those thoughts aside with a smile. “Nothin that you haven’t already heard of from your own lads I’m sure, Thomas,” the older man nodded, happy to see when the drinks were brought up to them.

Thomas' tankard didn't even touch the table before he was taking large mouthfuls of the ale inside, "Eh, been borin' really then?" He pursed his lips in disappointment, hoping there was something exciting to return to, "Well, sir, 'ow ya' been?"

I can’t tell what tone the announcer guy has, but regardless he expected her to probably fail and/or was like “what? You have a child and you’re wearing [gasp] skimpy clothing and there is a pole?!” Either way, that’s stupid. She’s amazingly good at what she does.

Actually, David Walliams is another of the judges from Britain's got Talent, and whatever the gif looks like his face is saying - he was extremely polite and supportive to the woman :)

"Family?" William hummed, motioning for someone down below to bring his associate more to drink. "As in the family you left in Ireland, or the ones you’ve started to come across here in the colonies?" he teased the younger man, as his own way of showing he was happy to see him again, as well as a means to scold him for not checking in.

"The ones in Ireland, sir, or ya'd 'ave 'ad me around more." Leaning back, he put his feet up on the table, "Well, 'ow's things? Anythin' important to report to Tommy-boy?"

Slumping down in the chair, Thomas grunted, "Eh, ya' know that's me style, innit, sit?" Shooting his superior a crooked smile, the young man continued, "I just had family affairs to see to an' all."
