The first part with them beating the woman/robot traumatized me as a kid. I found it depressing. The poor girl wasn't hurting anybody and those dudes just beat her and shot her for no reason. At first when I found out she was just a robot I was like "ok its not actually a person, it's a robot" but it was still pretty fucked up to watch. yeah, but deep down you feel that this thing isn't real, and needs to stop existing, before it takes over that is the correct mindset. All humans should be treated with respect and equality while machines should be killed on sight or made so they can't think for themselves Isnt that the point though. Even though she’s not biological, doesnt her having consciousnesses give her life the same value as any other person? Effectively it’s just as terrible as a real human women being brutally murdered. no. Having consciousness doesn't automatically give you human value. That would be like saying a self aware computer should have the same rights as a human. A mass of metal and wires is not a human and shouldn't be treated as a human. And not only that but she also looked human as well. It wouldn't have taken much for the guys who harmed her jump to hurting real humans as well. "bot" or not, I would still treat it as a woman. But I'm kind of old fashioned. That female android was most likely used as a "sex bot" by a MALE HUMAN… that robot probably received only pleasure, compassion, love, kindness and calmness from HER OWNER. the point is you realise it’s a robot but she’s screaming please don’t hurt me. Does it make a difference if it’s a machine that can still experience fear and pain?
