Quick rant:

Kira from Mars should’ve gotten more screen time. Yes, Rei is an amazing character who I’m happy was flesh out through the story but I wanted to see more of Kira and yeah, we do see her get through her struggles and trauma as well but I don’t know, I feel like there could’ve been more with Kira:/

I feel like i encounter this with a lot of romance stories i consume. Like i watched a kdrama a few months ago and both the male and female lead had super interesting and complex backgrounds, but the whole show was so obviously centred around the ml and his trauma. The fl's backstory just didnt get as much of a dramatic flare, or even the screentime it deserved.

Perhaps this is a result of people wanting more complex male leads, since its pretty boring to have a bland ml whose entire purpose is to like the fl. And i wholeheartedly AGREE but i just wish there was more of a balance?

I just wanna be free and scream, I can’t even have a single day in my life that I feel accomplished with those even who love me the most, nothing can stop me from only feeling mundane

I know I’m human and that hurts but I don’t know what else to do, I can’t stop picturing myself choking those who I think have damaged me, I stop myself from just accepting the fact that I’m hurt and not perfect, that’s okay to be but I can’t, I’m tired of upsetting those simply for being myself.

If you’re reading this, I hope you don’t become like me, know that you’re loved and appreaciate by someone out there, talk to that person and keep them close. Love is the best gift you could give to someone.
