"Well, I don’t know about that. I definitely don’t want to make you feel like you have to tell me anything private. That’s your choice. Just know that I’m a pretty good listener and not to toot my own horn, but I’ve been know to give some good advice.. but yeah. I just hope everything is okay. Alli perked up a bit at the word muggle. "Ooh! Like a Z-Box or a Nintentoe Weeeeeee. Or whatever they’re called?!" 

"Not to toot your own horn? That was very lame. But alright." He cracked a smile. "It's an X-box 360, what is a nintentoe? That's--I'm slightly worried for you now."

[plops down, looking at her now burned hems before putting her chin in her hands] More than sometimes it seems. [smiles lightly] Alright, I s’pose. I went home and Luna was there… She’s been taking care of the house since… Gran got put in the home.

"You'll get better, don't worry." He sighed. "Why is everything going to shit? This year is already going to be shitty--I can feel it."

Yeah, any chance I had at being a potioneer. [coughs]

Everyone messes up sometimes...[ he waves the air with a weird face ] That smells. How was your break by the way?

"Ok— if you’re sure." she smiled back deciding to drop it.  "So how was your holiday?"

"It's not something you want to hear about anyways, Alli." He sighed slightly but tried to think to some positive things that happened. "Well--I got this muggle game system. I'm not too bad at it."

[stumbles out of the potions room, smelling like smoke, the hems of her robes singed] Well, wrackspurts!

[ looks up from his book ] Did something just blow up? 

"I think so? I don’t really see the point in being a bitch about things." Astra considered bitch to be a curse word and she pulled a face while she said it. "I really wouldn’t mind making the call." She smiled, reaching out to touch his forearm. Her eyes light up at the mention of praying. She’d never done anything like that before, but she’d read all about religion in Muggle Studies and the prospect of something new was exciting. "Of course. You’ll have to talk me through it, I’m not really sure of what to do."

"Fair enough." He stated, scratching his arm absentmindedly. "Thanks." Drix gave her a smile and he sighed in slight relief that he didn't have to do it alone. "No worries, I can do that." Clearing his throat, he looked around. "We need to find a quieter place."

"I’m still sorry it happened." She shrugged a little, meeting his gaze. Astra nodded. "Well I have a aunt who’s the healer for my entire family." Excluding her  mother of course. "If you needed her number? I don’t know what she could do, but she’s very good."

"Are you always this nice to people? You seem nice." He said, a sad tone etched in as she reminding him a lot of his mother. "Wow--uh, I would do anything. I can't--" Drix closed his eyes, "I know we don't really know each other all that well..Uh, could you maybe I." He cursed himself for being so weak. "I don't want to pray by myself." 

"Say no more," He replied, recognizing the tone quite well. "Family stuff is family stuff."

"It's fucking whack is what it is."

"Hey Drix… are you okay?" She asks looking concerned. 

He gave her a small smile. "Yeah, it's alright." Drix felt bad for being short with everyone but he wasn't really doing it on purpose."

Astra made a face of confusion when he said he wasn’t thinking about exams -wasn’t everyone as concerned about them as her? Her expression turned sad when she heard the reason. “Oh that’s awful, I’m so sorry.” Astra offered him a small, sad smile. “Have they seen a healer?”

"Not your fault, but thank you." He sighed, "I--uh, it wasn't good news. I'm just hoping she gets better." As much as he felt like praying; he couldn't bring himself to do it. Not after everything with his dad. 

"What’s going on, mate?"

"Way to much." He said with laugh that held no humor. "Family stuff."

"Hey…you alright there?" He asks, tilting his head. His hair scatters somewhat to the side of his face.

"Honestly? Not really." He sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

Astra placed her bookmark between the open pages of her book and shut it gently. “Worried? About exams?”

Drix shrugged, "I haven't really had those at the front of my mind..." He contemplated just telling her--what would be the harm? "The--um, the only person that I really have right now got sick. I'm a bit torn up."
