"An' ye weren' in here a second ago??" Remy whispers, but it held the same level of urgency as it would if he was yelling.
So much for no witnesses, but here was the one person that would probably cause the biggest scene. She at least quieted up; while he didn't intend to be rude about it, the jolt in his heart had him blurt the words out.
"I take ma hand off, promise ya won't start hollerin', yah?" Well, one could hope anyway, "An' I leave ya alone."
Remy retracts his hand and climbs back up onto the ledge he was on prior, working on making an exit for himself through the sealed window. His index finger glows a hot pink and he starts tracing along the perimeter of the glass, the energy cutting through it.
"Jus' pretend I ain't even here, den neithe'a've us gotta deal wit' de racket dat was comin' up behind me, d'accord?"
"I was there a second ago," she indicated the screen she'd been changing behind, still indignant but confused and more than a little concerned given the circumstances now. So he wasn't going to hurt her, but what the hell was he doing in here? And more to the point, what the hell was going on?
His manner, rush, and of course the shushing indicated he wasn't supposed to be here, in the building much less specifically her dressing room, but why would anyone be infiltrating a relatively small club? It didn't make sense. Technically hiding in the dressing rooms did, nobody was going to be busting down those doors, but-
And he was breaking the window. Fabulous. The eyes had been a hint, of course, but yeah, mutant abilities, alright. He was apparently a bit of a showoff, technically he could just kick it out.
"You could at least explain what the hell is going on first?!"
