Alien covenant is fucking wild, like I enjoyed the slow burn of prometheus but I absolutely loved the way this film was approached. Yes, there are some story elements that are simply mental but the conviction by which they are told made it difficult for me to want alternatives. *no real spoilers* most of the questions of Prometheus are directly and indirectly answered. Some plot are obvious but are shot in a fashion that feels like the the movie is saying "I know you know what's about to happen so I'll do away with heavy mystery that isn't mystery and just let the action happen". And I down for that.
