Okay so I saw this community post by @maidahselky with the idea of Simon popping into the Hail Mary before the start of the story, and trying to figure out where he is and why there's stars and what's going on before Grace wakes up
And like? I am absolutely tickled by the idea of Simon trying to pretend he was part of the crew and Grace just doesn't remember him in order to keep from like being shot out the airlock or something. His personal stuff? Oh, he already unpacked it. His job on the ship? Umm...engineer! Yeah. Why does he keep breaking down crying in the plant room? No reason, don't worry about it.
Then when Grace finally puts the pieces together and confronts Simon expecting him to be a stowaway or something Simon instead goes well I'm from another dimension where all the stars and planets are gone and I was trapped on a submarine in a blood ocean and then I somehow wound up here.
And then Grace just pauses, claps his hands together and goes OKAY never bringing that up again, let's go figure out that astrophage thing instead okay? okay great hey what type of blood was it, human blood you say, right right let's go see how Rocky's doing with that chain.

Idea that after touching the apple in brotherhood, Desmond AND Lucy are teleported back. Lucy struggles with telling Desmond about her being a Templar or not because now they were technically free so did he really need to know? She ends up being the one reluctant to go back to the present though Desmond isn’t much better. He “accidentally” immediately starts flirting back once Ezio starts.
Ezio gets to play sugar daddy to Desmond and Claudia ambushes Lucy to train her and yuri happens.
