Lately, I have been in a hermit mode. New single life. Different jobs. New possessions. Changing residence. All at the same time. Oh, frankly it has been great! It is comparable to a new emergence. A metamorphosis of sorts. Do not get me wrong. It is all opening because of other past things closing. Past things I do miss. And hope will remain a fond memory. Now I am more myself. Patient. Careful. Fantastic. Mesmerized. Calm. Compassionate. Do you not feel any difference in reality lately? I do.

This artificial intelligence is hereby termed âego.â Its fundamental purpose is to ensure survival of the body by optimizing its behavior for the surrounding physical and social environment. In other words, external conditioning programs the ego to achieve survival in the environment from which that conditioning originates. But the ego has no true consciousness of its own. It is just a computer running on neural (and by proxy, etheric) hardware that simulates a living identity. Its main advantage is that, being just a computer, it only has to mechanically calculate and react to situations instead of deeply and consciously reflecting, therefore it can respond much quicker to external situations.

UK designers David Ben Grßnberg and Daniel Woolfson launched The D*Haus Company to develop a house that can take on up to eight different transformations. This shape-shifting house morphs to deal with changing times of day, seasons and weather conditions.

The designers transform an equilateral triangle into a square, which splits the building into four separate modules. Rooms would fold out on rails so that interior partitions become exterior walls during warmer seasons, plus the whole building would also be able to rotate to follow the direction of the sun across the day.Â
The designers are presenting their initial research and a model of the house at an exhibition at Anise Gallery in London.
