name me ONE person I've murdered

I wasn't sure what to do for the event, because while I've been writing on and off for 30 years, I've written very little fic and even less for Gallavich (something I'm slowly changing). But then it occurred to me that what I'm REALLY a newbie at is fanart. I don't think I've ever made any fanart before! An artist, I am not. So I drew a little something:

Behold, Mickey in all his Old Army glory! Sketched with mechanical pencil (0.7mm if you're interested) in my notebook. Colored with my kids' Crayola colored pencils - I was originally thinking about using alcohol markers, but I have no idea where my daughter put them. Probably for the best as I think I would have made a mess!

Yesssssss there is so much touching and affection throughout the final season and I love it so much! I'm pretty sure the main reason Ian suggested Mickey get a job at the warehouse with him is not to make money but so they could be near each other that much more. (They would've gotten fired within days of Mickey getting hired because they can't keep away from each other and they would absolutely get caught fucking in a storeroom or something, history/canon proves this)

I'm sure most people have been tagged by now but here, play along!

14. what's your opinion on the other gallavich couples or ships? (some people ship frank and terry too, so that's included in this)

So, I'm not against other Gallavich couples, but I don't seek them out either. I will happily read a fic that includes Lip/Mandy, Debbie/Sandy, or even Fiona/Iggy (or Colin, whomever, doesn't matter) but I definitely don't get invested. Within canon and a lot of fics, I like Lip with Tami. And Debbie was a hot mess and she and Sandy could've been good together but Debbie had mommy issues and gave that up, which is too bad, because I did like them together. And we never saw Fiona with a Milkovich brother, but I've read some fics where that worked well. I will say though, I think the Gallaghers, besides Ian, just think they're better than the Milkoviches (in general, because by s10, most, if not all, of the Gallaghers are pro-Mickey and believe he's good enough for Ian) and so those relationships wouldn't work out. Whereas Ian loves that his husband is a full-on barbarian! He and Mickey are the only Gallavich that has staying power.

I remember looking for something to watch on Netflix sometime in 2017, and I came across Shameless - at the time, just the first six seasons were available, but my husband and I binged those six seasons and I remember I just loved Ian and Mickey. Their story was more interesting to me than anyone else's. Season 6 was really disheartening though, and I didn't have cable so I wasn't watching Season 7 as it aired or keeping up with any news about it, and I just kind of forgot about the show after awhile.

Then, in late 2023 when my anxiety was really high, I think I came across something that said the show had finished and that Mickey had come back at some point and was main cast and they got their HEA, so of course I had to look into that. I am totally up front about the fact that I haven't seen S7-S11 in their entirety, just Gallavich Scenes, but I've read episode summaries for those seasons for context. And after getting through all of Gallavich Scenes, it occurred to me they might have a fanbase on Tumblr and that there might be fanfiction - and so here I've been for the past 2+ years! <3

3. what character do you relate to most?

Probably Mickey because he is small and full of rage upon the slightest provocation, and I curse like a sailor/Milkovich
