Messy doodle of Phantasos and El Cid doing research about demigods, since it’s been centuries since the last demigod was born and they aren’t exactly sure what to expect (lol) with their very own one 👶 👶

In an AU set in modern times and where they’re all average humans, Pandora Heinstein is the heiress of the Heinstein family. She has been in love with Rhadamanthys for several years, but he’s oblivious to her feelings much to Pandora’s frustration.

However, during one Christmas party, she and Icelus get incredibly drunk and despite hating each other’s guts, they end up having sex. Pandora finds in Ikelos a substitute for Rhadamanthys and a way to vent her frustrations for not getting her beloved’s attention, and Icelus simply enjoys the casual sex without any commitmet even if he’s aware that Pandora is using him, so despite their constant bickering and their mutual hatred, they keep seeing each other quite often just to have sex and nothing more...

Things get awkward between when Pandora realizes that maybe the Rhadamanthys she loves is just a product of her idolization of him, whereas Icelus notices he’s starting to fall in love with Pandora but doesn’t want to admit it, not knowing how to deal with his own feelings.

Phantasos would literally prefer to die before giving up on making sword puns during foreplay.

(I have realized that I barely talk about this boy, which is a shame and thus I’ll try to redeem myself putting him in the spotlight more often. He deserves it UwU)

His real name is Rodrigo, but nobody (not even El Cid) uses it in the Sanctuary.

He spent most of his childhood in Barcelona (Catalunya) until he was found by the Sanctuary and brought to Greece. He was later sent to Japan during his teenage years to train as the future Capricorn Saint.

Sisyphus was the one to give him his nickname as “El Cid” upon meeting for the first time.

At first no one could figure out how did the out-going and bubbly Sisyphus befriend someone as stern and introvert as El Cid.

He actually worries a lot about those who he cares about. He’s just too good at concealing it...

He’s an introvert, but he’s not shy. He doesn’t feel “bad” or “lonely” when he’s sent out to missions all by himself, but people still misunderstand him and his feelings.

Mine’s death and later “resurrection” at the Catalania’s tournament really afflicted him, to the point he hardly talks about it or mentions her at all. Not even Sisyphus knows all the details about what happened to her.

He enjoys strolling along the beach and likes the sea.

Easily the most aggressive of the bunch.

If it wasn’t for his hunched position, Icelus would be near as tall as Oneiros.

He has more things in common with Thanatos than with Hypnos, mostly his violent tendencies and his recklessness.

Believes that his job creating nightmares for mortals is extremely important, because it’s a way of putting them in their place, reminding them all the things they fear. When someone isn’t affected by his nightmares, Icelus gets incredibly annoyed.

Despite his personality, Icelus is quite obedient and loyal to Hypnos and Oneiros, and would never do something considered “rebellious”.

Has a very good sense of smell.

He sees mortals as playthings and thus enjoys “playing” with them with his nightmares.

He’s the second oldest sibling.

Became the leader after Morpheus renounced, and has been the leader since then.

He’s usually serious, though not as stoic as Morpheus tends to be.

He doesn’t have a realm of his own within the dreamworld, instead he watches over them all, making sure his siblings do their job.

Good at organizing, designing plans and giving orders. Most of the time.

He can be very deceptive if he wants to, and hide it all behind the most exquisite politeness.

He’s extremely loyal to Hypnos.

He’s also quite pragmatic, especially when carrying out an order given by Hypnos.

He’s arrogant, but he doesn’t underestimate rivals/enemies as much as his siblings do. He doesn’t like taking risks.

He’s good at hand to hand combat and he’s a balanced and a flexible fighter when he doesn’t fight fused with his siblings.

He’s the oldest of the Dream Gods, and Hypnos’ firstborn.

He’s also the tallest, around ~210cm aprox. He’s even taller than his father.

He used to be the leader, until he willingly handed over control to Oneiros.

He’s a pragmatist most of the time.

Very dutiful and responsible.

He’s the sibling that resembles Hypnos the most, both physically and psychologically.

Like Hypnos, he isn’t very fond of violence and will usually “attack” with the dreamworld’s poppies.

He likes tea.

He is very calm and silent, and it’s rare to see him angry or upset.

Because he doesn’t talk too much, sometimes his siblings have trouble figuring out what’s going on in his mind.
