I updated the wings a bit but am realizing I may need to redo them entirely. As much as I love the little feather peek, his wings aren't "on-model" at all and the original point of this was to practice the csm artstyle rip. Lemme know what you guys think. I'm kinda tempted to keep it despite it being incorrect for the sake of the peek. For ref, this was my original drawing that this anim is based on and the wings are more on-model here:

Thanks again to Thanatos_26 for these scans and permission to clean, organize, and host them! Early drafts, initial sketches, and correction sheets are organized, layered on top of one another, and given additional comparison shots to the animation by me.
This is an incredible shot, one of the most emotionally loaded expression shots in the entire series, so it's awesome to get a peek behind the curtain of its creation. The stray hair just a little out of place seems so right, like this is a choice she pulled at it making.
