Ninjago as Wings of Fire Dragons dnd Au

The Dragon Prince. Netflix has it marked as Tv-Y7…the same age rating for Ninjago, it makes zero sense when you think about the sheer amount of blood and violence (like Sol Regem burning from the inside out, or Claudia doing a blood ritual to bring Viren back).

Next, Demon Slayer: on Netflix, seasons 1-3 are 16+, ok, fair, I see it. Season 4 is Mature due to the one hot springs scene, ok, fair enough, but season 5? I don’t understand the Mature rating, 16+ like previous seasons, ok, but Mature, out of everything, season 5 is one of the most peaceful seasons (except until the last episode, but is it truly enough for the MA rating?)

Oh, and then the infinity castle movie, rated R. Like yeah, it’s bloody and violent, but no more than Rengoku getting punched through the stomach or that one scene during the Entertainment District where Douma is holding a dead woman’s body with a bite taken out of the leg. Demon Slayer has a higher age rating than Hazbin Hotel (16+)…a show with a fucking porn demon, swears every five minutes, and a sex joke every two.

First of all, no, ew, gross, never. Second of all, that never even crossed my mind 😭. When I say I ship them, I mean it as before Sabito’s death, and I even don’t see them as an official couple in canon because they met at 13, and Sabito died at 13, maybe feelings, but that’s all. And after Sabito’s death, shipping stops there,because Sabito…is well…dead. Maybe Giyu kept those feelings and wished they had a future together, but that’s a normal reaction to death honestly. Of course he does move forward eventually, not saying I head canon it where Giyu surrounds all his romance to someone who died when they were 13!!

Now in fanon, that’s a different story. In fanon, like where Sabito survives selection, I’m all for the ship because they had time to grow together and Sabito isn’t dead.

I understand if you see them as friends and as platonic, no hate. Also, no, I do not believe that if two characters are best friends, it means they’re dating, that’s stupid, my opinions on one ship doesn’t apply to everything. I am all for platonic duos (Shinobu and Mitsuri, Rengoku and Tengen, Giyu and Shinobu, etc)

Anyways, I won’t talk about the leaks on my blog (and if I do, it is coming with the biggest spoiler warning possible, don’t worry).

Anyways, I thought two years in a row was absolutely tragic, but three?? Get your shit together Lego, this is insane. I feel so bad for the writers and cast, and everyone affected by these leaks. It’s not fair and easily preventable. This is extremely frustrating. Also, apparently Tubi (the service that leaked it), took the entire show off of their website, so there’s that.

I ended up watching the entire season, so I won’t tell people to not watch for that would make me a hypocrite, but if you do wish to watch the season, I beg of you to watch the official release as well, that is what I have done for season 2 and 3, and will be doing for 4. It shows respect to everyone who worked on the show, and it helps make sure the show doesn’t end up getting a failing amount of views, jeopardizing the future seasons.

Anyways, I hope everyone who works on the show is doing ok after these last THREE years of leaks 💚.

So, a head canon I recently thought about for Giyu Tomioka in KNY is what if after Sabito’s death and Giyu’s depressive state started to grow, there was a time where he also entered a muted state. Like, he just didn’t want to talk, he hated the sound of his own voice, or felt as if his voice didn’t need to be heard after failing the selection, as if his opinion or thoughts would never matter. As the months, maybe years past, he ended up communicating with others with writing, sign language, crow, or he just ignored them. I feel as he raised in the ranks, he was pushed into more communicative situations, and would have to start talking with people again, despite his unwillingness to do so. He spends the next few years trying to find his voice again, and that’s how we get to canon:

He hates talking and would prefer not to, but has improved and started talking to others again, but his communicative skills aren’t the greatest.

Like, if you told me that Nighteye’s va was Gyutaro’s, I would already be shocked, they sound nothing alike, but then add Apollo?! Like this man has serious talent to be able to have such a wide range of voices, it honestly shocks me.

I really hope we can see more of Brandon’s voice in Illium because he has shown interest in coming back, and in the Illiad, Apollo plays quite a role in the story.

So, I’ve kind of gotten stuck plot wise, I have nowhere to continue, and I can’t go back to edit already posted chapters. I’ve also kind of have lost the will to write it for the time being. I’ve always been the person who can’t devote themselves to one project, and due to this, I will have cool ideas that I really want to write, but then I have to work on the Au I’m posting, and due to that, the Red mask Au have come to feel more of a pest than a passion project.

If you were reading it and was intrigued by its story, I’d be more than glad to give you the synopsis of what would’ve happened, and maybe in the future, when I have the Au finished, I can post the entire thing, but for now, the Red Mask Au has been wiped from my page and is gonna have to sit on the back burner for a bit.

You mean some idiot hacked Doc Wyatt’s account all as a stunt to make Geode fans look bad?!

This is insane, first of all, why do people have to target the writers?! They have done nothing but show support to this fandom, and this is how some people repay them?!

Also, if you don’t like geode as a couple for homophobic reasons, fine, we can agree to disagree, but to do such absurd actions as these just show how pathetic of a person you are. I understand if you don’t like geode for reasons other than it being a queer couple, no hate for that, but I do not understand it if your only reason to hate geode is because it’s a queer couple.

So, it has recently come to my attention that Doc Wyatt and ninjago writers are getting death threats due to the DR Nya and Jay storyline and the drama between them…why?!

First of all, Jay’s arc was much needed for his character, he became more than ‘comic relief’ and due to the way they slowly did everything between him and Nya, it was kind of like a semi slow burn, and it’s exciting to watch and the conclusion between them was very rewarding and satisfying.

The writers executed the story extremely well, season 1 we have it confirmed that Jay is alive, season 2 part 1 we get a glimpse on how deeply Nya misses Jay and her deepest fear, s2pt2 those fears become true and now Nya has to get Jay back, season 3 pt 1 Nya finds Jay and now they have time to get close again, season 3 part 2 they start working together and in the end Jay falls for Nya all over again, and s4 pt 1 things are NEARLY back to normal.

It’s been a hell of a journey seeing these two the last 4 years, but it was worth it, it gave their relationship more depth.

Also, how has the world become so bad to where people give death threats to real people for fictional characters?!

The ninjago fandom is lucky to have its writers and crew so involved with the fandom, having questions answered about the show, having crew members interview other members (thank you Brent Miller), etc.
