Okay reblog if youāre an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary
People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someoneās art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that canāt possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.
Obviously donāt feel bad for NOT adding a comment if youāre shy or just donāt know what to say, but if thereās something you would like to say about a drawing youāve liked enough to reblog, Iām pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.
This applies to art, fic, dumb theories, whatever! I totally love reading tags and commentary!
Definitely re-emphasizing that ALL reblogs, likes, etc are awesome! So donāt feel bad/feel obligated to add something if you donāt want to, but donāt hold back if you DO wanna add something because youāre worried itās rude.
I once read someoneās post saying āNEVER ADD A COMMENT WHEN YOU REBLOG SOMEONEāS WORK CAUSE YOUāRE TAKING ATTENTION AWAY FROM THEMā and itās what prevented me from doing so for a time, until I became a creator of stuff myself and I can say thatās absolutely untrue. For one, Iām not a five year old who needs all the attention to be on me all the time. For another, the fact that someone would take the time to sit down and put real effort into writing something, whether as a comment or in the tags, means so much to me and is the most inspiring. Finally, you have a voice too, and you have as much right to speak it as I do :)

OMG is this why people stopped leaving comments in the past few years? Iām so hungry for comments! You donāt have to put them in the tags, either. Feedback gives me so much more energy and motivation to make art than a silent ālikeā and I crave it!
