How society seems to see it....

Poly person deciding to be in a two person monogamous relationship with a monogamous person: Very romantic, a sacrifice made out of love and respect.

Mono person deciding to be in a relationship with a polyamorous person: Very misguided. They clearly have no respect for themselves they will get hurt. It is the responsibility of the poly person to end this before they break this poor mono flower's heart. This is a tragic situation born out of the selfishness of poly people.
