“A drink? As in water? Why?”

Sabrina spoke more firmly, doing her best not to come off as uninterested - a habit that had grown from her isolation, but one she was in the process of breaking. “I’ve never been the social type,” she said, looking into the face of the beautiful Dragon master. “Lately, I’ve been trying to go out more often.” 

The dragoness returned the gaze-- though more out of uncertainty than anything else. It was clear now that Sabrina’s tone was more firm than before, but why? Had she been too pushy? Under normal circumstances, Clair would’t have cared. But Sabrina was a woman who posed no direct threat to her; she was an ally, a friend. 

“Absolutely not! I refuse to clean a place that YOU defecate! How rude!”

“Why would I need this?”

“I—,” Sabrina paused for a second, before continuing. “—I don’t bother to associate outside of the League, I haven’t found much need too.” The Psychic expert fidgeted, but didn’t want to appear rude in front of Johto’s strongest leader. “How are you, Clair? It has been a while.”
