“How do you function? Respiration and cardiac-wise?” Kindar floated in front of his mouth, examining the sharp teeth. If he were 10x smaller, she would hug him and call him adorable and whatnot, but for now she would settle for studying him.

“Why can’t I find it?” Maiara said to herself, now visibly panicking. She needed to calm down and destress herself. Maybe a walk in ;Mechcity will help ease her nerves. She logged out of TOME’s moon and transported herself outside the Balance Stadium. It was late, but of course there were groups of players either socialising or battling each other. Her panic faded into longing, a longing to be with the friends she had made at Netking Software. Why did she leave again? She didn’t remember why, but knew that she wanted Chris to be safe. That was something else she had a longing for. Someone she could just be herself around. Of course, that was Chris. Maiara trusted him with anything that she told him, even though he was just a friend. But seeing couples in the game made her start thinking otherwise, especially that Alpha kid and his little girlfriend. But that was none of her concern anyways. She just needed to get her hands on the Forbidden Power and erase it forever, and maybe go back to living normally again.
