like i can’t express how much hope it gives me seeing other people’s niche obsessions or ship content or whatever even if it’s “fandomslop” or already existing characters it’s so much better than making nothing i have to tell myself this repeatedly YOU HAVE TO MAKE THINGS EVEN IF THEY’RE STUPID AND “BAD” PLEASE DON’T EVER STOP. YOU KNOW WHY BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE THEM. DO YOU KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS TO LOVE LIKE THIS

let me add to this Everything you make has importance despite what you might tell yourself. everything has its place in the world even if you’re not doing as much as you want to. even if you don’t talk about it. even if it gets no reach. even if you’re not writing of pages upon pages of life-changing literature or groundbreaking character analysis even if you’re not pumping out 10 pieces a day or your art is unpolished or your skill level isn’t where you want it to be. even if it doesn’t have any explicit or “real” meaning. even if you think nobody will care. even if you’re the only person in the world who gives a fuck. even if you hyperfixated on something for a little bit and forgot about it AND DON’T COME TO ME WITH THE “i can’t control what i fixate on it doesn’t actually mean anything” that DOES NOT negate its impact you loved this thing so much and you kept doing it. you engaged with it in a way that made you happy and THAT is what matters I’m shaking you by the shoulders and screaming it at full force until you can’t hear anything else YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOURSELF YOU WILL THRIVE FOREVER
