I thinkkkkkk carol takes the place of stratt for this au, and she was the one who ultimately decided to send kris? it would play out similarly to how it did for grace. susie was kept in the dark until she found out by accident a few days before the launch, and ends up being jailed by carol to prevent her from interfering— she doesn’t get released until the Delta Rune has already launched.
