I’ve been trying to track this down for ages; I saw on YouTube the clips were posted almost 20 years ago. I love everything about these clips and wish I could find out more about them. If anyone has knowledge of this or would like to converse about it, please PM me.

I first found this photo set around the time I was having my wisdom teeth removed. My procedure was not nearly as involved as hers, though, and honestly, I found myself jealous of her experience! I believe the original set had a picture of her in the waiting room, a picture of her being masked down, and a picture of her post-op as well. To this day, I still want to know more about this experience.

I love when patients are excited about their experience!

Aww, why is the third patient hiding behind her pillow? It’s cute that she left her shoes on over the compression socks, but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of sterility?

Looking good and feeling excited as she heads into surgery! I always thought that the ones who can have fun with the experience make the best patients.

Cute! I’ve always thought it was nice when doctors let their patients express themselves and maintain some comfort; it’s a simple gesture to let the patient wear her own favorite socks under her hospital socks.

Waiting patiently, but she’s got the nervous leg-cross. She looks warm, though! What surgery is she about to have?

This girl decided to keep her sweatpants on under her gown; I wonder why? What surgery is she having that this is allowed? The socks are a nice touch, though!

The first girl is nervous, I wonder why? But she definitely got the better socks! The second girl seems to be having fun. Who said hospital socks and gowns weren’t fashionable!?!

It looks like she’s been putting those socks to good use; some people like being patients.
