“What did the beach say when the tide came in?”

“Asher wants to hear it! What is it dude?”

“Why did the chicken cross the playground?”

“Because if it flew over the bay it would be called a bagel!”

“As long as you stop peaking in third person, sure.” 

Dug was just about to tell the girl his new joke when he stopped and furrowed his eyebrows at her, cocking his head to one side. “Excuse me?”

“I love jokes, so go ahead and tell it to me. I’ll be your audience.”

“Okayokayokay!” Dug was very much excited to tell his new joke. He tried to calm himself down before he told it to the kind girl. “What do you call nacho cheese tha-” He stopped mid-sentence and furrowed his eyebrows. “Wait, no that is not correct.”

“Why is there a gate around cemeteries?”

“Well, okay! ”Dug only smiled wider at the boy. “Some people are not always in the mood for a joke. Dug understands that.”

“Why does a seagull fly over the sea?”

“I am Dug!” The boy cheered happily.

“Well, don’t keep me waiting if you’re so excited. What is it?”

“Why did the chicken cross the road?”

Dug wiggled some more, “Knock knock!”

“Where do sheep get their wool cut?”

“A joke? Yeah, I’d love to hear it! I love jokes, ‘specially really funny ones, so if you think it’s funny… Well, spit it out! What is it, Dug?“ 

“What do you call a cow with no legs?”

Tinkerbell frowned, though the boy’s excitement brought a smile to tug at her lips. “Alright, fine. Go for it, but only if it’s really that funny,” she teased, raising her brows expectantly. 

“Knock knock!”
