Jack frowned at the answer. Usually he wouldn’t just be this blunt when it came to a situation that involved others, but this was Bunny, and he had just been looking like he wanted to jump from the railings. At the others pout he laughed again “Yer bottom lip sticking out like that makes yeh look real easy to mock mate” he teased. That wasn’t a useful suggestion at all.
“I dunno, but I figured I might as well ask,” he laughed. “Maybe you could, like, force someone you hate to swallow it and choke? All up to you on how you’d waste your piece, man.”
He blinked “That’s dark mate. Is there somethin’ yeh wanna talk about? Should we go see the counsellor?” he asked amused trying to seem concerned but in too good a mood.
“Hopefully, your day’ll start to get better soon.” She says. “It’s nice to meet you, Edmund. I’m Rose.” She says as she shook the boy’s hand.
He didn’t see it getting better any time soon but he gave her a weak smile anyway. He nodded an shook her hand tiredly “Nice to meet you too.” he responded.
Jack was just headed back inside after having gone flying around for a while. It had been way too long since he’d been able to do that so freely, it was amazing to do it just for fun. But as he had now landed and was just walking towards the doors, he stopped instantly as soon as he saw his friend standing on the edge. Quickly his eyes bulged and he dropped everything but his staff, pushing off of the ground and flying up towards Bunny.
“What’s up, man?” He asked as casually as he could muster, actually panicking.
Edmund was a mess. He didn’t know what was in his future from then. Nell and him were still broken up at this point and he wasn’t getting any sort of sleep or eating anything. He was unshaven and exhausted. He looked up as Jack appeared beside him. He blinked at him. What’s up? Many things. None of them particularly happy.
