daccapri b2 suit explorations. I wanted to embody more of the star aesthetic. This one was the worst one to draft cause I had too many conflicting ideas.
plus since she's part demon I wanted to slowly incorporate more black into her suit. still super dissatisfied with this one because I love the first one but it feels too simple for her.

I finally finished this reference sheet that I started back in 2023, for a Bayonetta/Hellboy self insert character that I planned to write a story for, I still need to draw her brother as well, who I do have a concept sketch for, but the design is not finalized yet so it probably won't be shared until I'm happy with it! The last image was the concept idea, which you can see is now polished and updated. I genuinely couldn't decide which series to put her in, since I liked the idea of just making a crossover series hybrid, and I even found a way to make it work! I might share her profile in the next post, Which also features information about her brother as well! :D

In my perfect world she's chubby <3 . I also decided to give her and the boys more muted colours, I think its a nice change of pace. Dressed for comfort not for style. mundane and cozy is the vibe I'm going for.

Daccapri is a Lumen Sage-in-training with a blood bond to the demon, Madama Fortuna. Often looked down on by other Sages due to her demonic

This was definitely before Maiden Heavenās concept for sure. Im still a huge fan of the mask concepts Balder had. I wish we had more lumen content cause itās so fun.
Tried to pick angels that I could pull direct comparisons too silhouette wise from the game. It needs a lot more body horror to truly fit the Laguna.
I believe the idea was supposed to be that Daccapri incorporated multiple masks into her moveset. Each mask would be a visual representation of her stance switching/style swapping in gameplay.
Instead of relying on a weapon with an angel tied to it directly like Demon Masquerade; she would instead retain a single trick weapon and use the Masks to channel the angel.
Like Balderās glaive it would be capable of being alternate forms (Glaive, twin swords) And the stance swapping would instead change how she grips her weapon. Negating the need for weapon switching.
The original holy weapon she was concepted with was a lot less complex than Maiden Heaven. Something closer to a bloodborne styled arsenal. Iāll have to see if it survived the hard drive blowing up.
